Psalm 110 Of David.

A psalm.

1 The Lord says to my lord:

“Sit at my right hand
until I make your enemies
a footstool for your feet.”

2 The Lord will extend your mighty scepter from Zion, saying,
“Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
3 Your troops will be willing
on your day of battle.
Arrayed in holy splendor,
your young men will come to you
like dew from the morning’s womb.

4 The Lord has sworn
and will not change his mind:
“You are a priest forever,
in the order of Melchizedek.”

5 The Lord is at your right hand[c];
he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.
6 He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead
and crushing the rulers of the whole earth.
7 He will drink from a brook along the way,[d]
and so he will lift his head high.

Psalm 110 tells us that Jesus will sit at the right hand of the Father until the Father puts all of Jesus’ enemies under His

In Revelation chapter 20:7-10 satan carries out his final assault on the church after the thousand years and is then cast into the lake of fire.

Psalm 110 teaches us that Jesus won’t leave the Fathers right hand until the kings of the earth have been crushed, satan cast into the lake of fire and the nations judged as shown in Revelation chapter 20.

Thus Jesus is seated on the right hand of the Father and is not on the earth during the thousand years.

Pretty sure that has been for the last 1992 years. Yet after the Second Coming, Christ will be on earth. David did not give a scenario after the 7th Trumpet and all the nations are given to Christ. You have made it to the Second Coming in your explanation. The last 1,000 years of this reality will be Christ on earth. And David did not cover the history after the Second Coming. Just the point up until the Second Coming.

It doesn't say "crushed", you added that.

1Co 15:25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Obviously Jesus will leave his Father's side when his enemies are made his footstool. Jesus will reign over those enemies during the thousand years and at the end when Jesus himself, not his Father, has put all enemies under his feet then his reign over them ends. Amillennialism has a fractured, incomplete understanding of this while Premillennialism has the full picture.

The kings of the earth are the 10 kings who makes war with the Lamb before the 1000 years. After the beast is slain those kingdoms become the Lord's kingdoms and he reigns.

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."

This is when Jesus inherits the promised land and begins the 1000 years. At the present time the promised land is governed by the 10 horns and an 11th smaller horn. It's getting very close.

It was the 11th little horn that created the hermeneutic that has inspired your teaching that the little horn hasn't arrived yet. Perfect deception.

The little horn is in the promised land today. He arrived via ship out of the sea from the north west. In my lifetime he soundly defeated three horns and took control of the seven hilled city in a very timely fashion. He reigns from that seven hilled city today even.

As I stated though, at the sound of the 7th trump, the whole promised land becomes the kingdom of God.

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."

That is when Christ inherits the land promised to Abraham's seed.

Galatians 3:16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, "and to seeds," meaning many, but "and to your seed," meaning One, who is Christ.

Psalm 110 Of David.
....

Strange that you would just bypass... the following verse in your quote of Psalms 110:

Ps 110:2
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

KJV

Who's that "rod of thy strength" belong to? Lord Jesus, for in Psalms 2 The Father promised the "rod of iron" to Jesus in order rule over His enemies...

Ps 2:6-12
6 Yet have I set My king upon My holy hill of Zion.

7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, "Thou art My Son; this day have I begotten thee.
8 Ask of Me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
KJV

The Father shows there that He will set Jesus as KING upon His holy hill of Zion. Where is God's Zion going to be then? Where Jerusalem is today, ON EARTH. And Jesus promised His faithful would also reign over the nations with the "rod of iron".

So I don't know where in the world all the theories about Christ's future Salvation not involving this earth is coming from, because it certainly is NOT BIBLICAL. In Isaiah 45:18, God said He created this earth to be inhabited, and it will be. That is why He promised that the meek shall inherit the earth.

Thus those who think they're going to live up in the clouds somewhere in an ether space love to build dream castles, as if they've been smoking something.

I didn't bypass verse 2 I posted it with the others.

So were or what is mount Zion?

Hebrews 12:22
But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly,

Mount Zion will be on the new earth just like Revelation chapter 21 shows

You bypassed the IDEA OF IT, which is HOW you bypassed that verse in that Ps.110 Scripture. You bypassed it by trying to teach AGAINST what it showed.

Where the Ps.110 Zion will be involves the TIMING of Psalms 110, which is ONLY AFTER CHRIST'S FUTURE RETURN to this earth...

Zech 14:4-5
4 And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with Thee.

KJV

Thus the Ps.110 "Zion" will be UPON THIS EARTH in that future time.

All the land promises were fully completed in Joshua.

All the land was given. If they're not using any portion of that land today, that makes zero difference.

Hi Marty,

Good scripture there and very relevant for our day. Now we need to remember that the Father has given all judgment to the Son.

`the Father has life in Himself so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute JUDGMENT also, because He is the Son of man.` (John 5: 26 & 27)

Thus it is the Lord Jesus who will be judging the world system, the final Gentile Global Government.

Ps. 110 tells us that when the Father has delivered the Son`s enemies to His footstool, that that is for the Son to bring judgment upon them. And that is the beginning of the tribulation.

Jesus' Young Mule, I don't believe you're so naive as to overlook what that passage is really speaking about.

It is not speaking of Land Promises. It is speaking of the promise of the Spirit just two verses prior in verse 14.

Do I really need to elaborate, or can you read the verse and concede?

Yes. It is including the land promise as all promises concerning the seed of Abraham which is Christ. Christ is recieve that land at the sound of the seventh trump.

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and loud voices called out in heaven: "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever."

It will remain his forever just as God promised.
You should believe God.

Ha. Yes.

I knew that's what you were pushing for.

No, no, no. That's just not the case.

You're combining two different parts of Scripture that are not the same thing at all.

The land promises in Joshua are done. Finito.

"And the Lord gave unto Israel all the land which He sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it (all of it), and dwelt therein. ... There failed not ... of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass."
Joshua 21:43
Joshua 21:45

"... ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass ... and not one thing hath failed thereof. ... all good things are come upon you, which the Lord your God promised you."
Joshua 23:14-15

There's just no arguing with the plain definitive nature of those verses from Scripture.

Those who stubbornly persist are assinine.

You are misinterpreting Revelation 11:15. Jesus turns the Kingdom over to the Father at that time 1 Corinthians 15:23-25 so that verse is not speaking of what happens when Jesus returns, or at the end of the world, nor at any beginning of any imaginary Millennium.

Your case is kaput.

God will keep his promise to Christ. You should believe God and stop disbelieving him.

Christ will recieve the land promised to him

Revelation 20:4 Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image, and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

It's a shame you don't believe.
Your nothing like Abraham, he believed God.
