The vision of Revelation 12:1 is a prophecy and must be understood as such. It is symbolic language depicting truth. In prophecy a woman was always a depiction of His people. His church. In the OT a woman in prophecy depicted Israel. In the NT the church.
You can see this particularly in scripture on references where the prophets were castigating Israel for their disobedience, naming the nation as a harlot. The prophet Hosea lived as an example and a testimony to Gods patience and love even for a prostitute wife.
There are two women in the NT. The pure woman of Revelation 12 represented God's faithful people, the harlot of Revelation 18 an apostate church. Neither of them, regardless of how it may be looked at, represent individuals.

It might be of interest to @theefaith to add that a Sabbath keeping Christian church arose in Ethiopia as a direct result of this conversion and baptism, and it however did not have the sanction of the Pope in Rome...oh wait...there were no popes in Rome at that time. I guess then all those Ethiopian Christians weren't saved then not having a Pope to forgive them.
