What is interesting is this was written to a group of people whom were alive and breathing at that time.
1 Thess. 1:1
1 Thessalonians,
1 Paul, Silas[
a] and Timothy,
To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
Grace and peace to you.
These people were waiting for the return of Jesus. Today, I think it is good to continue to encourage people to continue in trusting Yahavah, and believing on the Son, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
A lot of time people quote scripture just forgetting about the main audience, I don't know why that is, but it seems to be an ever persisting thing that happens a whole lot of the time.
When this happens people forget about the people being written to, and apply the message as though it to us today.
While you are free to choose what you are gonna believe, that is all fine and well but perhaps I am a stickler for just the truth of the matters concerning these things.
How can I change, 1 thessaloians to say "To matthew in Alabama."
