Yes, PIP,
Jesus is Son of Man and Son of God, however when He was on earth He only operated as the Son of Man. It was by the word of God and the Holy Spirit that He did amazing things.

Thank you for that detail David.
And yes on the foundations were the names of the 12 apostles. They were promised to be ruling over the 12 tribes of Israel. (Matt. 19: 28)
And ` the foundations of the wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones...` (Rev. 21: 19) As I have shown these represent the rulership of Christ. He is the sovereign rule overall and He rules through the 12 apostles in the New Jerusalem.

As we believe every word Spoken by God(Matt 4:4) = the BIG Picture of Truth is getting Clearer.
The Body of Christ is the New Jerusalem = All whom the FATHER places in CHRIST = 1Peter 2:4-10
Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,
“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”
and
“A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”
They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

`A Royal Priesthood,` are Kings and priests, Kingpriests. Now in Israel those two offices are always separate however in the Body of Christ we see those two offices.
This we see in Rev. 1: 6 ` and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father...`
Also in Rev. 3: 21 `To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on my throne...`
And that throne we see in Rev. 4: 2 `a throne set in heaven and one sat on the throne...`
We are told that the Father set His Son on that throne in Mount Zion. Ps. 2: 6 `I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.`
And we are told where that is in Heb. 12: 22 - 24 `you have come to Mount Zion...to...to Jesus...
So there we read of the ruling Mount Zion. it is where the Body of Christ as Kingpriests will rule and reign with Christ, on His own throne in the highest.
We also read of the `city, the New Jerusalem which is in the highest realm too. However, we know that the city comes down out of heaven from God to the universal area to rule over the earth. (Rev. 21: 2) It is the Old Testament Saints who are in that city, (Heb. 11: 16).

The city had a great and high wall with twelve gates inscribed with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, and twelve angels at the gates. There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south, and three on the west.
The wall of the city had twelve foundations bearing the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
The Body of Christ is on the Lord`s own throne, His seat of power over all other thrones. This throne is in the highest. we are NOT in the New Jerusalem but rule over it.

All saints in Christ are the "living stones" that are built into and part of the New Jerusalem = The Bride of Revelation chapters 19, 20, 21, 22
No, they do not represent the church. The 12 disciples looked for the kingdom rule of Israel to be restored.
`Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? ` (Acts 1: 6)
Peter said `YOU (NOT we) as living stones...and `YOU are a...royal priesthood..` (1 Peter 2: 5 & 9)

Good, let`s look at just this part. I agree that the 12 apostles of the Lamb have the new birth, (& infilling of the Holy Spirit) and a living hope, with the word `US.` Very good so far.
Then we read - `an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled and unfading, reserved in heaven for YOU.` Why didn`t Peter write for US? It is because they have a different inheritance - to be rulers over the 12 tribes of Israel as Jesus promised.
`Jesus said to them. (his disciples) "Assuredly I say to you, that in the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the throne of His glory, you who have followed me will also sit on 12 thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel.` (Matt. 19: 28)

In fact, the Holy Spirit wrote to "us"
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
The Gospel is to "us" who Believe = regardless of the 12 thrones for the apostles

`Us` is for the new birth BUT NOT the inheritance which is `for you.` Big difference there.

Yes, He says that to the Body of Christ. You have not proved that the 12 disciples are in the Body of Christ.
Why did they ask Jesus was He going to restore the rulership to Israel at that time? (Acts 1: 6)
Why did Peter compel the Gentiles to live as Jews? (Gal. 2: 14)
And much more.

Have you never read the Gospel = slowly and in prayer?
