I'm not worried about nothing. Jesus did away with the Law of Moses, this includes feasts, Jubilees and sacrifices. When Jesus died on the Cross, the Age of Grace, aka Church age, began. The Age of Grace cannot be mixed with a works-based Mosaic Law.
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished". Matt. 5:17-18

Therefore, the requirements of the Law are surely abolished. The Law remains for unbelievers. For the world, it defines for mankind what sin is.

And not only all that I pointed to happens when Christ comes back, this also, the restoration of all things spoken of by all the holy prophets since the world began.

Including the new earth and new heavens.
And it says that all who are among the people when God sends Christ, who do not hear Christ, will be utterly destroyed.

Acts 3
14 But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, 15 and killed the [b]Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. 16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

17 “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. 19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that He may send [c]Jesus Christ, who was [d]preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since [e]the world began. 22 For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you.

23
And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’ 24 Yes, and all the prophets, from Samuel and those who follow, as many as have spoken, have also [f]foretold these days.

25 You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’ 26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”
Sorry Scott. Amillennialism is a false theology. All that your post means is that Christ, at His second coming, is not coming back to earth to "restore all things". He's coming back to take us to His Father's house. That's probably why we are meeting Him in the air.

What Amillennialism is trying to do cannot be understood from a study of the Gospels. That understanding will be incomplete and faulty without an understanding of the 18 Prophetic Time periods found in Daniel and Revelation.

I don't think this is the thread for that.

He certainly does, and it is taught in multiple scriptures too.
There are no ungodly survivors who survive the Day of the Lord when Christ comes back.

His people are raised and caught up by the angels into the air to be with Christ as He is returning seated at the right hand of the Power coming on the clouds of heaven.

Then He burns the unbelieving world with fire in judgment.

There will be no more marriages, or death, or births, or flesh as there is today, everything He will change.

2 Peter 3

Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of [a]us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

AI really just is a digest of everything on the net. I'm glad AI can't figure it out.

The numbers match and can superspeed, or force the understanding of doctrine. The numbers are the price action that makes for market cometary. The numbers take priority.

1535 + 62 weeks = 1969.

1969 + 7 weeks = 2018, + Special 50th Jubilee year = 2019.

2019 + 1 week = 2025.
Useless stuff, IMO

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I know you don't think so, but it's actually the other way around. You will be on my side one day.

Apocalyptic Prophecy is only found in Daniel and Revelation. It's a unique style of prophecy not found in the Gospels. Matthew 24 comes close because Jesus refers us to Daniel the Prophet (1290Days). Apocalyptic Prophecy contains 17 prophecies, and 18 prophetic time periods. This type of prophecy has a beginning point in time, and an ending point in time and follows a chronological order. When that chronological order is broken, and the subject matter changes, a new prophecy will usually begin.

The biggest prophecy in Revelation spans three of it's Chapters, and two of it's prophetic time periods. It begins with Jesus, and it ends with Jesus. From Baby Jesus the Man Child in Revelation 12, across the middle ages with the Dragon chasing the Woman during the Foxe Book Days, and through Revelation 13 to our end times now, it completes with us standing around Jesus, our Lamb on Mt Zion at the start of Chapter 14.

After that finishes there are still people on earth being told to come out of Babylon.

"And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.”
Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

After the first resurrection, there's still saints on earth doing it the hard way. There's not another resurrection of the blessed and holy, they just die and each go strait to heaven. One at a time. Coming out of great tribulation. They're still filtering through. Stragglers.

"And I heard a voice from heaven telling me to write, Blessed are the dead--those who die in the Lord from this moment on. Yes, says the Spirit, they will rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them.
"Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The first fruits are already there watching it with the elders.

The ones coming out of great tribulation, did it the hard way.

You are basing that all on the book of Revelation which is a prophecy book. You can't read it logical, like reading a book. Nor can you read it chronologically, because it isn't in order. It has an interpretation, most of which is in the past.

Here's a guy for you.

He will wager $1000.00 for no rapture.

Games of chance are sinful behavior so.... he's not a guy for me disagree.gif

Newton was born 1642.

Yeah.... I love his invention, the Fig Newton snack

Really a great contribution to man kind right there! thumbsup2.gif

Since the rapture signifies also the resurrection, when Christ comes again is also the day of judgment and the Last Day.

No, after the catching away of the church the last half of the tribulation period plays out where billions of people are killed in nuclear holocaust.... then the Lord returns to start His 1000 Year Reign.

This one is actually fairly spooky.

Trump is scheduled to speak at the UN on Monday morning at about the same time when the new moon is sighted for Feast of Trumpets in Israel. Wouldn't it be wild if Trump talked too long like usual and the Rapture hit right while he was speaking? And he doesn't get to go. It would be bad luck to be up on stage when the Rapture hit. He could blame it on aliens.

Likely more than half the people here believe in a second and a third coming of Christ.
A secret 2nd coming for the rapture of the saints
Then a delay of some number of years, 7 or less, with a 3rd coming of Christ.

None of that is scriptural, they follow cleverly designed fables.

Jesus only returns a second time.

Christ never taught a secret rapture. Neither Did Paul.

It was never thought that way in Jesus' time. So, He called it 'Like a thief in the night". AKA secret, as in, not knowing when.

It is modern like in the last 150 years, Darby and Scofield. And it is mostly the North American Baptist churches that believe these things.
For over a thousand years, most of Christian history, Christians did not believe the things that are now taught as true. And when you read the bible you don't find these things unless heavy interpretations are forced on the text. And people say the JW have their guide book as do the Mormons!, to properly understand scripture, but American late stage Christianity has that also with Scofield and Darby's doctrines and Scofield bibles.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 and 2 Peter 3:10 both call Jesus' returning like a thief in the night. Then Matthew 24:36 Jesus says you neither know the day or the hour. So, it must have been taught for 1000 yrs. ago. You can't escape putting these verses together.

Yes, Christ returns as a thief in the night. He is coming at an hour which you do not expect.
In only that one way is it secret. Because His return is visible to every eye, when He does return, every eye shall see Him.
There is no secret rapture for the Church, with the world unawares of His return.
The unbelieving world experiences a sudden destruction as they are not looking or expecting Him to come back. They are surprised, terrified, and destroyed.

But that DAY does not take us unawares, Christ told us to also be looking, watching, waiting for His second coming.

Paul makes this clear in 1 Thess 5

1 Thessalonians 5

1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.

2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.

3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be [a]sober.

7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.

8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.

If that Day overtakes you as a thief you will have a bad ending.
Christ promises that here and He calls them evil servants.

43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [h]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food [i]in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying [j]his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wonder how many people here actually believe this.
And this proves a secret rapture of the saints, and leaving the evil ones punished, is a LIE.
Because when Christ returns is the judgment of the world. And evil servants go to weeping and gnashing of teeth on that Day.
Of course when Jesus returns it will be for all to see, but nobody knows when. There is a rapture because I've seen it in a vision. My vision aligns with Matthew 24:40-42 and in verse 42 Jesus says "watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come"
