Rapture ... soon?

I would but it is a sin/idolatry of Money. I trust and believe in God's Word. The Rapture is an event that WILL happen..

It happens every day and has been since the beginning of time for anyone who believes in Jesus, that’s the way a believer goes to be with the Lord.

For some reason people ignore the actual words of the “rapture” verses and have turned into a special event for a special group when it’s actually an event that all believers will take part in.

Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

From the four winds means from all directions. From one end of heaven to the other in that verse means from the most distant parts of the earth. There are three heavens - the earth's atmosphere, the cosmos, the heaven where God's throne is (which is the third heaven).

2Corinthians12:2
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

Matthew 24:31, the gathering of the Jews from all nations to Israel is also in Ezekiel 39:28...

Ezekiel 39:28 Then shall they know that I am the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.

Jesus Himself is speaking in Ezekiel 39:21-29, having returned to this earth.

Paul said to the first century church that they should "watch", because the coming of the Lord was near. Thinking that Paul was wrong is not believing the verses, actually.

But people are missing the point…..I was on a thread where they were debating if the story of the rich man and Lazarus was a true story or a parable. Old debate but the point is be read for Judgment Day before it is too late. Christ said only His father knows….(One of a hundred verses that prove they are not the same person.)

Be ready is the point….Live a good Christian life….give to charity...go to church and be involved with church activities. Raise your children in the church. Stay away from the Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Calvinists and the Once Saved Always Saved and Universalism groups.

The parable of the fig tree is not the rebirth of Israel, it’s the DESTRUCTION of Israel.

Jesus was warning the Jews that Amos 8 was upon them.
