I don't know anything about posters histories.
I am amazed how I do not exactly get what speaking or praying in tongues even is,
tho, I have many books on it to help me.
But, within a week of being Baptized in the Holy Spirit, and wow...the stories I could tell....I was able to pray in tongues alone in my car...and I was happily amazed...as in,
"Huh?"
And, and the blessed stories I could also tell about that!
I am in awe and humbled just remembering.

On different forums when anyone starts a thread on this, it always is from
someone outside looking in; an intellectual assessment of it.(Often an angry or heated one)
Well, I'm no Biblical Scholar so I will, nor never could, debate this phenomenon.

I can say I am very very grateful I had no idea it was some controversial thing
when a friend pretty much dragged me at 7pm after a hard days work with a 3 YR injury to a Bible Conference with 900 people...went up at an 'altar call'...ha, a new
phrase for me...was healed, Baptist in the Holy Spirit, and later spoke in tongues...
later would touch people and they were healed..the militant atheist was pretty darn cool...and many things after that.

Since the climate on forums can be so ugly...this will be all I will say publicly.
I might not even come back to this thread to read any doubts or attacks on this amazing thing.
I would not be able to answer any questions, besides.
I am like an innocent that went to an altar call with faith and beaming with
simple joy and went back to my seat changed in so many many many ways!

@Miss Hepburn Amen! Over the years we have shared our experiences with him/twinc...but he is old and bitter...therefore we cut him some slack.

Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood”. question, twinc, is this letter from one person, two, or three person. Notice the bible have just spoken with a tongue, can you identify it, or interpreted these verse by the HOLY SPIRIT as one Person, two Persons, or three persons that this letter is from?. or do you need an interpreter?.
