the sin nature

Is it fair that God does these things to people with this “nature”…

“…a lion out of the forest shall slay them, and a wolf of the evenings shall spoil them, a leopard shall watch over their cities: every one that goeth out thence shall be torn in pieces: because their transgressions are many, and their backslidings are increased.” (Jeremiah 5:6)
What do you mean, "God kills people?

Are you not reading and comprehending the scriptures I’m posting???

So then it must be possible for men to STOP sinning.

Because God is just and:

“For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.” (Job 34:11)

If man could stop sinning, he would be judged by his own abilities to do so.

But God chose Grace because man has no ability to reach this goal on his own.

That's why Pau said this:

Rom. 4:14-16

"For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,"

Your not going to make it by keeping Law and Commandments, thinking you can sin no more, thereby keeping that Law and Commandments.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him.

4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.

That's it! The PRACTICING OF SIN that the apostles are saying will not abide in the believer. Man makes mistakes quite often and that is usually sin in the eyes of God. This is why we can't work for our own salvation. We must have the Grace of God, or we simply will not make it.

Not all have abandoned the practicing of sin, that is the purpose of our sanctification carried out by the Holy Spirit. This is a process, but the Grace of God through our faith does not stop flowing.

Man can stop sinning!

But until Christ there was no way to clear past and olds sins.

Not without the blood of Christ.
I wonder how many folks would buy this ,
If their own child kept disobeying them all the time and said , HEY mom , hey dad i just cant stop disobeying you .
SO why buy it when it comes to the church . Just a friendly reminder to all .

if we say we have no sin we decieve ourselves.

Here John includes himself in his statment and he is not talking about past a sin. He is talking about present. Then he makes it clear by sayin gif we do sin we have an advocate

so much for an apostle who walked with Jesus being sinless..

he can get angry all he wants. He is a liar and self decieved..

That’s the unbelievers.

Because:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)

And so:

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” (1 John 3:9)

Here John includes himself in his statment

Yes he does:

“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” (1 John 5:18)

all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD . which means ALL NEED to BELIEVE in the GLORIOUS KING JESUS .
But if our jesus we believe in is the minstir of sin , WRONG JESUS .
Rather let us correct any and all error within the said church . Lets sound like paul did years ago
who said LET INQUITY not once be named among you .
Lets sound as john did who said SIN NOT , and if folks do err , REPENT , confess .
Lets keep that pattern going , cause in truth its the only pattern that is gonna keep any gathering safe
and growing in the faith .

God will not allow mans efforts (his works) for justification. This is why Paul constantly tells us that works cancel Grace.

You can't have it both ways, faith and works combined for justification.

How can I prove this to you? What do you want from Scripture? I have shown you over and over.

He calls John an unbeliever when he claims the (we) who claim to have no sin is an unbeliever.

If he will twist that. He will twist anything

@Charlie24

According to your doctrine, God kills and harms poor humans with a sin nature.

He demands the impossible from man and then murders them for their inevitable failure.

You’re comfortable with that?

works dont cancel grace . You got that all wrong . TRYING to be JUSTIFIED by the law , THAT makes one fall from grace .
But both men preached do good works . Its thinking we are justified by our own works that decieves one .
We are justified soley by faith in the glorious Lord Christ . Now lets follow his pattern .
Remember . Go and sin no more .
Or lets allow paul a reminder or two . Let all who name the name of Christ depart from INQUITY .
Let it not once be named among you . Lets bring back in the serious and good grave reminders .
Cause every word was written for our own good . the warnings are not gonna kill anyone . no ones head
is gonna explode for hearing them .

1 John 1:8 - if we say that we have no sin, (present tense) we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, (past tense) we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
