Brother, we are constantly accused of condemning and persecuting the unbelieving "righteous" simply because of agreeing with the scriptures on that subject. Crazy accusation because it applies to all of us.........we ourselves are not saved by the filthy rags of our own righteousness, nobody is, and that is WHY we all need Christ.....

Poor you. This faux outrage belies the fact that actual righteous people don't claim to be righteous. You are the one (or ones) trying to be saved by imputing a righteousness onto yourselves that is equal to God's...IN YOUR SINS.
.if we are persecuting the unbelieving righteous then we are doing it to ourselves as well.

Thank you for making my point.
There is just so much ridiculousness around here with these things and I wish more could see it.

Exactly
The meek and humble are those who come to acknowledge that their own righteousness cannot save them and accept Jesus, and submit to the righteousness of God. "In me (that is in my flesh) is NO GOOD THING."

Jesus saves those HE accepts...not the other way around. We are NOT in charge of free gifts...God is. You imagine grace as a candy bowl in an office with a sign that says "take one". But that is fully wrong and subverts the truth of why Jesus came down to us. And the bible is not a menu whereby you select your own preference.
I wonder if Epi will come back and respond to those scriptures that speak to Abraham being the father only of those who have faith and who have Christ. So far, just more crickets as usual, as you say.

Abraham is father to the nations...ALL the righteous... whether by faith OR works. The reason why God justified Abraham before his works is because God sees the future. However, the angel of the Lord ONLY saw the righteousness of Abraham AFTER he was willing to sacrifice his son. Then the angel said...NOW I see that you fear God.
Gal 3:29
And IF YE BE CHRIST'S, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Read more carefully. Christ is Abraham's seed...so if we are Christ's then we belong to Abraham's seed who is Christ.

Paul attests to the fact that Christ is Abraham's seed.

Remember the context :Broadly:

Rev 22:11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”

2 lost
2 saved
In the Great White Throne judgment the outcome is life or death. Life for the righteous and death for the evildoer. (Whoever is not written to life in the nations in the Book of Life.)

In the Bema Seat judgment for God’s House where judgment begins, all are saved because ALL who call on the name of the Lord will be saved... some to the kingdom, saints, and some to outer darkness, filthy, (honour and dishonour).

Matt. 8:12
"But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

Luke 13:28
"There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out."

I count 3 saved and 1 lost.

So when one talks about being "saved" one could ask, "saved to what??" ...because I fear being saved for outer darkness...that's NOT where I want to end up!!.

Reading the context of that verse I believe the children of the kingdom are the unbelieving Jews.

John 1:11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.

You might disagree.

So do you believe that the words of Jesus are only for the Jews?? I ask because the similar verse in Luke 13:28 says "in the kingdom of God", not "children of the kingdom". How do you reconcile that??

CONTEXT

Matt 8:5 When he had entered Capernaum, a centurion came forward to him, appealing to him,
Matt 8:6 “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.”
Matt 8:7 And he said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
Matt 8:8 But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Matt 8:9 For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
Matt 8:10 When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those who followed him, “Truly, I tell you, with no one in Israel have I found such faith.
Matt 8:11 I tell you, many will come from east and west and recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven,
Matt 8:12 while the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
Matt 8:13 And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go; let it be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.

Story is about a gentile (not God's chosen people), then view for further context in v11, gentiles coming from all over the world entering the kingdom of heaven, saved. Contradictory in v12 (keyword while) many chosen people (Jews) thrown into outer darkness because they rejected Jesus. I don't see how people thrown into outer darkness are saved people.

So, 2 lost, 2 saved :Broadly:
