A political news outlet in Germany shared what appeared to be a horrific bombing by the Russians in Kiev on one of their broadcasts. But as it turns out, the footage was from a 2014 chemical explosion in Tianjin, China. Newsmax used a photo of a crying older woman standing in front of her home with the caption, "The current devastation in Ukraine," but the photo was from 2015. An Italian newscast used footage from the video game "War Thunder" when talking about the war in Ukraine. No doubt people seeing a rain of missile were horrified...

The vast majority of the fake news we see circulating is anti-Russian, so I'll be debunking a lot of this type of information. However, I have no doubt similar fake news is circulating in Russia, and in pro-Russian countries, showing fake news that is disparaging of Ukranians. We're just not seeing much of it, so I can't debunk it.

I'd respond more to your posts, Reggie, but this is a LOT of resentment. I suppose the last paragraph explains why, but if I were you I'd guard my heart from being consumed by bitterness. I have a friend who is heavy into SRA, and I tell her I can't meditate on that business forever. It's too negative to be contemplating all the time. As for this topic, I've gotten posts from three different people on this thread defending insulting behavior rather than wanting me to correct it, which quite frankly offends the Hell out of me, but it won't ruin my day. I have plenty of other ways of dealing with things, and I'll be sure to find one that won't steal my peace.

Back up a few steps and refocus on what the Lord is doing in your own life if you can. Don't let the enemy so consume your mind that all you can think about are the evils you see being committing.
