Yes Jesus is the way, the truth, the life, no one gets to the Father but through me( or name)--Getting to the Father Jehovah is ones goal. The way, the truth, the life = Learning, applying and obeying on the mortals end. Everything originates with the Father it goes through Jesus.
In the Lords prayer did Jesus say to do anything for him? Its all about the Father to Jesus-every step of the way. Mark 14:36--Matt 7:21) goes for the true followers as well.

The bible is clear-Joel 2:21-22-Those calling on the name of Jehovah will be saved. Quoted at Acts 2:21-Rom 10:13)--Doing the above-learning, applying and obeying is what we do for Jesus to find the way into Gods kingdom, by doing his Fathers will( Matt 7:21)
What did the FATHER say we must do, that HE may receive us???

Greetings David in NJ,
What is the BIG #1 - MUST DO FIRST
Believe the gospel of the Kingdom and Name and allow this to motivate us to submit to baptism in water in identification with the death and resurrection of Christ for the forgiveness of sins Acts 8:5-6,12, and then live the crucified / resurrected life motivated by the love of Christ Galatians 2:20.

Kind regards
Trevor

Do me a favor = place the Name that is Above all names before "gospel of Kingdom"

Believe on His Name = Acts 4:8-12 and Philippians 2:6-11

No, they go together. A correct understanding of what is involved in Name of Jesus Christ and ALSO the Kingdom of God combined represents a belief in the Gospel of Christ. To be clear, there are so many perspectives on these two components of the Gospel, that as a result few believe the Apostolic teaching. Your emphasis on one aspect seems to indicate a possible neglect of this aspect of the Kingdom of God and a possible tolerance of a wide range of opinions.

Acts 8:5-6,12 (KJV): 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Kind regards

Yes, but we worship and bow the knee to him for who he is and what he has accomplished and is yet to accomplish. Can we separate Jesus from his ministry and teaching and his crucifixion, death and resurrection? Perhaps you are trying to emphasise a personal contact with Jesus and I agree this must be at the centre of our relationship and faith and experience.

Kind regards
Trevor

Jesus answered you--Matthew 6:33-Keep on seeking-FIRST - the kingdom and his( YHWH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these things will be added( sustenance, covering, spirituality)-- Goes right along with the Lords prayer= all about the Father, then other things.

JESUS is the Kingdom of GOD

The FATHER has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love,
in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

For in CHRIST dwells the Fulness of GOD Bodily

@Keiw = SEEK ye first the Kingdom of GOD = the LORD Jesus Christ

Greetings again David in NJ,
JESUS is the Kingdom of GOD
There is some aspects of truth about such a statement, but it also ignores much of the Bible teaching concerning the future Kingdom of God when Jesus shall return to sit upon the Temple Throne of David in Jerusalem for the 1000 years.

Kind regards
Trevor

Trevor, which Kingdom is Glorious and Eternal:
a.) The Resurrection and made into the Likeness of Christ with Immortal Glorified Bodies = 1 John 3:1-3 and Revelation 22:1-5

b.) Jesus ruling on earth for 1,000 years and then the destruction of the earth

Again, you use some aspects of the truth, and what you state will be fulfilled, but this is NOT the Kingdom of God. It is certainly part of what Jesus, the King of the Kingdom will accomplish.

Yes, Jesus will reign on the earth for the 1000 years, contrary to the JW teaching, but there is no evidence that the earth will be destroyed.
Numbers 14:21 (KJV): But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

Kind regards
Trevor

When the thousand years are complete, Satan will be released from his prison, 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to assemble them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the seashore.

9And they marched across the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. But fire came down from heavena and consumed them.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth,a for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. 2I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

The kingdom of God= Gods govt rule over all creation. Headed by his appointed king=Jesus. So NO its not seek Jesus first. Jesus ALWAYS puts the Father FIRST.
