Reader,

Paul teaches (the born again).... that "there is now no condemnation to those who are IN Christ".....

Condemnation is not of God, its of SELF, or its of the Devil., or both.

Paul teaches this...

= ""Use not your LIBERTY, for an occasion ... to the flesh""...

1..) Liberty ... "made free from Sin".... "having become the Righteousness of God......IN Christ".

There is no sin found, In Christ,.... and every born again Christian is "in Christ".

So....Where is SIN found?

2.) Under the Law,..... as "the law is the power of sin, and the power of sin, is the Law".. That is the "dominion of the Law".

Paul said.... "i would not have KNOWN sin, but the LAW revealed it" (but by the Law)...

What is the Purpose of the Law?

3.) To reveal to you, your sin and sinfulness, so that you will go to God with Faith in Christ = so that Jesus can become your "sin Bearer".

"God hath made JESUS, to BE SIN... for us"..

And once He does....... you are now "made free from Sin"..... and exist...."not under the law....but under GRACE"..

Where is Grace?

Read carefully....

4.) "Where there is no Law, there is no Transgression""...= (no sin found).

See that Reader?

That is your "Liberty IN Christ"...

How do you abuse that?

"use not your Liberty for an occasion to the FLESH".

Why does Paul say..."flesh""... and not "sin"?

"Because where there is no LAW... there is no SIN"..

5.) The born again are "not under the Law, but under Grace".

A.) Welcome to : Salvation.

Its a Gift. "the GIFT of Salvation". Jesus is THE GIFT of Salvation.

Respect God's Salvation = like this..."Present your body, (your life) as a living Sacrifice to God, that is your reasonable service"..

Not to be saved, or stay saved, but because you ARE Saved.

Yes, we are reconciled to God through the Sacrifice of Jesus, on The Cross.

We have to receive it....and that means we have to Give our Faith in Christ, to God., FIRST...

Welcome to : Salvation.

Its "the Gift of Salvation" and every Believer, born again, has it.

Regarding the Born again, Jesus is their sanctification.

on what basis is this exclusive assumption made?

I dont make assumptions.
I only Teach Paul's Theology/Doctrine.

Ephesians 2:6 says, . . And God" hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places IN= Christ Jesus""

See @quietthinker .... when a person is born again they become "one with God" "in Christ".

And they become .."The Temple of the HOLY Spirit.",.. and "Christ IS that Spirit".

So, the born again are "in Christ" and "Christ IN YOU, the hope of Glory".....

That spiritual union is explained by Paul as becoming a '" New Creation" "In Christ".

We must be Born Of The Spirit.

God hath made Jesus , to be sin for us.

And once he does.....once he does what?....you are now made free from sin?....and exist ....not under the law ...but under grace? Xx

Please explain what you mean?

Thx for the Question..

God meets ALL believers at The Cross.
God forgives them, though the Cross of Christ, which is the "new covenant"... its the "blood atonement".. It's the New Testament"..

Its this..

1.) "without the shedding of BLOOD, there is no forgiveness, redemption"....

So, that is why Christ "laid down His life = by shedding His blood for our sin".

A.) "God hath made Jesus... to BE SIN...for us"...

AA.) "Jesus is the ONE TIME.... ETERNAL.... Sacrifice for SIN"... (All of yours, forever) if you are Born again.

Our sin was laid on Jesus who became our sin bearer.... and then....

= GOD took that very life of Righteousness that Jesus lived, that is "Christ's Righteousness" and Spiritually Birth's us as that.. .as "born again" as a "new Creation in Christ". That is the "imputed righteousness of Christ" and all the born again are BECOME IT.. not just have it.

Jesus took our sin on the Cross, and we become "Christ's Righteousness", forever and ever.

And the verse says.......

"As Jesus IS......so are the born again... in THIS World"...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And when we understand this and believe it, then we understand why "confessing sin" is of no avail, as when you have become ..

"The Righteousness of God in Christ"... then you ARE.... and that is God's Final answer.

See God understands what Christ has "FINISHED", on the Cross, as Jesus said there, but most CHRISTians, have no clue, and of course the water baptized ....religious but lost.... have even less.

Its like this...

"well behold what if i ".... = "The righteousness of God in Christ." is YOU always.

"well behold, i keep doing it, and im trying to stop for about 15 yrs"... = You are doing it as "The Righteousness of God in Christ'., and once you understand this then God will help you with His GRACE and you'll be able to stop.
But not until.

Listen Reader,
You can't change the BORN AGAIN, """New Creation in Christ"", by some behavior issue you have ..

So Give God Praise for what He done for us.. as God knows that if He had created a Salvation that we could lose or ruin, then we would have......
But He didnt...>He designed HIS Salvation as JESUS.. and He didn't FAIL YOU.

See,

We went to GOD, by Faith in Jesus.... and God made us "The Righteousness of God in Christ" and you can't change that or lose that...

And a deceiver says....."but i was taught"....."But here is what i think"... "but what about over there in that verse that says"..

Listen, you will stay in a state of mind that is BLINDED to TRUTH.....and that is literally in "enmity against God"... if you dont learn who you have become as a "new Creation in Christ".

Reader....you can literally never understand it,..... and then you'll be worried about losing salvation, and trying to prove you can, and you'll be confessing sin..

You'll be stuck here until you DIE.... = Hebrews 6:1... OR.....until you learn how to understand your Salvation.

Reader....Most never get past Hebrews 6:1... but those who do have "worked out your salvation" and exist as...

A.) "As many as be perfect"... and that is regarding your understanding of who you have become, as a "new creation in Christ".

I can help you arrives as ive helped so many people in this world find that place of Grace that God wants you to exit IN, always...

Some will never understand it, and actually reject the knowledge because they have been taught by a Heretic that you are to... "sin, confess, repeat", "repent".. "sin, confess, repeat". and they are happy to stay there as they've been there for SO VERY LONG, already, and its what their cult teaches.

HOWEVER = Paul teaches that you are to be this one..

1.) "Christ ALWAYS ... GIVES.... ME .....The Victory"...

2.) "I Can do ALL THINGS through Christ, which STRENGTHENS ME".. and you, once you understand your Salvation.....Reader.

Of course.

God The Holy Spirit gives birth to the spirit in a BELIEVER and they are BORN AGAIN.. as a "New Creation in Christ"... every single time.

We must be Born Of The Spirit.

Jesus said..."you must be BORN AGAIN" and that is by the Holy Spirit of God.

There is no other way... including Water Baptism.

1 Corinthians 6:11

11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Yes..

"BY the Spirit of God"... and "God is A Spirit" = The Holy Spirit, and when we are born again, we become "The Temple of the Holy Spirit"..

I would say God forgives us through his Spirit, we can only be forgiven when Spirit gives birth to spirit,

Of course Jesus had to die and be resurrected, so that we can receive his Spirit when he births our spirit into his, his blood made it possible to be reconciled back to God, but, it’s our spirit that is reconciled back to Gods Spirit, via his Holy Spirit.

Thanks for explaining and taking the time to post.

I’ve just given what I believe and POV xx

I would say God forgives us through his Spirit,

Why can God forgive us? What is the basis?

God forgives us....... through/because of....... Jesus dying for our sin.

So, the Reason that God forgives us, is because Jesus has died for our sin..

John 3:16... "for God so love the WORLD that He GAVE Jesus"... to the Cross to die for the sin of the World.

This is 2 Corinthians 5:19 & John 3:17

Now a "Universalist" will tell you...>"see there, everyone is saved".. but no they are not..

See, Jesus dying for us all, is not everyone being Saved.
Its only the OFFER that has been completed for us all.. (World) .

To GET IT... to receive This Salvation that Jesus has completed on the Cross, we have to give God our Faith in Christ.

He must have this, FIRST, before He will then forgive our sin, and then give us the new birth.

So, the basis for God to forgive us, is Christ's Sacrifice on The Cross

Why does He do it?

1.) Its because we believed in Jesus....and our "faith is counted by God" on our behalf.. to then give us His "Gift of Righteousness"..

After that is completed, we are FORGIVEN...

2.) Then: = God births our spirit as born again... INTO..... "In Christ" as "One with God'..

Why does God have to forgive us first... through Christ's Blood and death, before He can birth our Spirit by His Holy Spirit?

Its because until we are forgiven all sin, or "made free from sin"... God can't join Himself to us, Spiritually.

But once God takes the blood and death of Jesus and forgives us... then now being forgiven, God can Join Himself to us in "Spiritual Union"..

And that is to become "In Christ".. as "One with God"... "BORN Again.

Jesus had to die and be resurrected......

Then we need to be reconciled back to God via his Spirit....he draws us to Jesus, he brings us to repentance/ Godly sorrow, I would not know how to do any of that in my own human understanding, it’s all of God via his Spirit,
God forgives us....... through/because of....... Jesus dying for our sin.

God forgives us when he brings us to believe in Jesus...before that he brings us to repentance/ Godly sorrow....he is the initiator and he is the one who births our spirit into his, Spirit gives birth to spirit...

Our spirit needs to be forgiven, how can he indwell a sinner heart, unless he forgives us he can’t, that’s why our spirit need to be Born Again by Gods Living word....not his written word.....we must have Gods truth revealed to our heart by his Living word....then we check it out with his written word.xx

Noone can know what the color blue looks like, until they see it.
No one can know how it feels to be in a pool of warm water until they are in it.
No one can know what chocolate taste's like, until they have it for the first time..

so, No one can "KNOW" that they need to be SAVED........noone can KNOW they need to go to God, until God opens your heart by His Holy Spirit.
In fact a lot of people who died today and went to hell, sat in some Church Of England for 60 yrs, and were told hundreds of times..

"Come to Jesus"... "He died for your sin"....... and they heard that without any resonance. That message didn't penetrate.

..................But others, who sat there for 58 yrs.........one day..........that Message spoke to them.. That message that is the Gospel.... spoke to them..
They heard it for the first time as....>"i need that"... "that is for ME"... and yet all those years.. they never heard it that way..
That is "Faith comes by HEARING" =The Gospel, as its revealed to your HEART by the Spirit of God..

And it can be that the one who was in that Church for 70 yrs, .. started Hearing that Holy Spirit Call, 5 yrs ago.. and resisted it.
And resisted it. and Resisted it.. and that is this verse... "If we sin willfully" there remains no more sacrifice for our sin"", as you just resisted it.
And if you die resisting it, resisting that Call of the Holy Spirit, refusing to BELIEVE IN JESUS....you have died resisting God's Sacrifice for your sin, while you knew it was...and perhaps for years..

Paul is talking to those in Act 28:28

They heard the call of God, all of it, and they would not have it.

Now that revealing, is not "being born again"..
Its only the "drawing to Jesus".... by the Spirit of God..... its that "hearing of Faith"..
Its Jesus saying.. "If i be lifted up (On the Cross) I will draw ALL people to me'.....
But not all will have it, once they hear it and are DRAWN = "if we sin willfully, there remains no more JESUS SACRIFICE TO SAVE YOU"><> because you would not have it, when you heard the Call, were Drawn by the HOLY SPIRIT and you Resisted it.

Paul refers to these as "stiff-necked"...

Whereas, . when a person receives this CALL.. and they dont resist it... they instead BELIEVE.... then God sees that in our heart when its first there and He accepts it, and forgives our sin, and THEN, Gives us the New Birth by His Spirit.

God forgives us when he brings us to believe in Jesus..

God causes (Draws) us to hear the Gospel, or understand the Cross, or perceive Jesus to be our Savior... and then we believe it.

Then God takes that Faith, and accepts it, and forgives our sin... and then births our spirit as born again, by His Spirit.

Our spirit needs to be forgiven,

Our sin needs to be forgiven, and that is what Jesus is doing on the Cross. His resurrection proves that what He "finished" on the Cross is True.

Once we are forgiven, because we First Gave God our Faith in Christ, then God joins His Spirit to ours.. and we become "one with God", "In Christ"..

That is the "born again".... happening.., and once it has happened, we are then become a "Son/Daughter of God"... a "New Creation, In Christ".

I wrote it like this...

The New Testament epistles have words like "remission of sins" and "sins may be blotted out" and "the forgiveness of sins" and "wash away thy sins" and "whose sins are covered" and "impute sin" and "are dead to sin" and "condemned sin in the flesh" and "take away their sins" and "Christ died for our sins" and "purged our sins..." The book of Romans begins talking about Jews and Gentiles being both under sin and this should not be anything new to us since both are still broken without the spirit of God. And yet for some mysterious reason I live on a planet where many Christians think their flesh is justified by the deeds of the law even after the book of Romans tells us plainly that everyone except the Christian is under sin (Romans 3:20 says Jews and Gentiles).

Romans tell us "sin is not imputed when there is no law" and "that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." And then there's verse 7 with "For he that is dead is freed from sin." I never understood Romans 6 because I was taught that I was a sinner saved by grace. Let's look at what Romans is saying: Christ died unto sin once and now he lives unto God. How are we who are still alive going to be able to likewise reckon ourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God? It seems to me it must be done through Jesus Christ our Lord. It's not about us or our broken selves. It's him we must function in. Here's the verse "Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord."

It appears both Catholic and Protestant churches do not teach that "sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace." Nor do they teach "For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness." And so "Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness." I'm going to skip over Romans 7 because it tells us right up at the top of the chapter that Paul is talking to those who are into or know the law. And then the context of the whole chapter is how we can see it's all about Israel and their Law and how they toy with their flesh.

What Paul talks about in the seventh chapter of Romans is what occurs to the believer who still thinks the Law applies to them. They end up spiritually dying by the commandment and realize that the commandment does not produce life. The war is with their flesh because they are still believing the Law has power over them. In the eighth chapter of Romans is where it explains how we overcome this whole issue by living in the spirit and being dead to the Law. We cannot live by faith in what Christ has done for us and still think our obedience to written laws are necessary. To do so takes away from the perfect work of Christ and places salvation and righteousness back in our own hands. Romans 8 states "the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin..."

The verse in 2 Corinthians 5:21, is talking about the "righteousness of God in him." It's the "in him" that nobody seems to be able to understand. This whole thing functions "in him." It's in Christ and therefore in the new nature that is mentioned just a few verses above this in verse 17 where it says "new creature:" It's not that we do not sin in our old man nature. It's that we do not sin in the new man that we are told to put on. The churches have destroyed this idea by teaching we put on the new man by following the teachings of Jesus as we walk in our flesh. So this is a lost art.

In the book of Colossians, we read "putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:" We did not put it off. It was the circumcision of Christ. Two verses later we read "together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;..." Again, it's "in him" or "with him." I also want to get the book of Hebrews in here where we see Christ offered himself once "for this he did once" and not like the high priest who offered up the sacrifice daily. The Lord Christ "after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;..."

Peter has the same mindset as Paul when he writes in 1 Peter "that we, being dead to sins,..." Peter goes on to say that Christ suffered once for sins so as to bring us to God, and so this is why the Scripture reads "being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" Again, the old man crucified and the new man put in its place. Peter again, "ceased from sin;..." Put that mindset on or as Peter writes "arm yourself likewise with the same mind:" Because he that has suffered in the flesh or was crucified in the flesh has put on the new man because the other one is dead. That new person "hath ceased from sin;..."

It's not that we do not sin in our old man nature

That's not true.

1.) The fact is.. "the old man of SIN, has been Crucified with Christ", so, Paul tells us that because it has, then "reckon it dead".

You are not doing that, @Peterlag.. you are stating that your old man is alive and well, and sinning.

And that old man is not your body, as "the body is dead because of Sin"..

So, the Born Again believer, is nothing less, and the "Old man of sin, is no part of them"..

2.) Where a believer has an issue, is with wrong desires while "under Grace", and those are related to "" sin consciousness"

Sin consciousness is empowered by trying to do in the flesh what has already been accomplished on the Cross.

Paul teaches that "I DIE DAILY" and that means i never let my mind return to "im trying not to sin"...or anything related to trying to save myself....... or Romans 9, "that which i would do"..."I cant"..

3.) He keeps that AWAY by : Hebrews 13:9

He has established his HEART, with GRACE.. So, that means he doe not let His MIND become "flesh", which is. to believe that you are a sinner, sinning., when in fact the Old man of sin is dead, crucified with Christ.

I can tell you what it feels like to go to Sodom and Gomorrah, and i can describe it, and you can imagine it.

But once you see it, then you'll actually know for the first time something about God that most don't know and that those sodomite where there, wish they didn't know.

This is why i try to sting people who post Threads that try to cast doubt on the Bible.
See, its better that i do it, and they really dont know why.
