It sees sense in darkness and distances itself from light all the while claiming light. Stumbling is inevitable yet denied. It cannot tolerate exposure. Multiple layers/facades developed/built effectively hide self from self. Self honesty is unknown while wearing the image of respectability.

A netherworld that seeks attention/approval/ validation by violence. When power is available force is natural whether covertly or overtly...mentally/emotionally/ physically. There is no centre except self where irregular oscillation wears life away. Attempts to stabilise by altering chemistry mentally/physically is ultimately futile. Fully blown it implodes/destroys everything in its gravitational pull.

This is beautifully written. You know, you just described my former life, just as Paul described his former life in Romans 7. In fact, I would suggest that you have just described nearly every "christian" I have ever met. Having been Indwelt by the Spirit in a most Powerful and Almighty Way, no True Christian will implode the way you have described; it just cannot happen. When a person is Truly Indwelt by the Holy Spirit, a change is inevitable . . . it is impossible to stop, or even controlled.

Romans 7:5-6 NLT - "When we were controlled by our old nature, sinful desires were at work within us, and the law aroused these evil desires that produced a harvest of sinful deeds, resulting in death. 6 But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit."

Romans 8:5, 9 NLT - "Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. ... 9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)"
