Better yesterday and today ! NO snow, and getting warmer...... high today 58

How is it over there ?

I have a daughter who lives in Ga. and is going to move to Tenn. because she says it is
way to hot........
And I have a son in Wis, and they are always colder then we are!

Hello there
I just found this thread again...this time I got the Alert ...last time when you asked on April 6th I did not get any Alert. Sorry.

Well I am happy to say that things are brighter.
It isn't "spring" here yet. No buds, leaves or green grass showing...
There are still high piles of snow around...but our front yard which faces south-west, is free of snow...but the back, north-east still has about a foot of snow. The sunshine is lovely, but the wind is chilly, blowing off the mountains which are obviously still snow-covered.
I am pretty sure that we wont get many flowers this summer...so hard on the bees and butterfly's. The ground is still frozen, and it will take a month to thaw out enough for the plants to put their heads above ground.
So, summer with flowers? We shall see...

I am not hopeful that the snow falls are over. Poor poor animals ..we have deer coyotes and jack rabbits around here. I am betting that many must have died trying to survive 7 months of snow.

I am sure you are having a lovely spring there...which is what we up here would call 'summer temps'.

Yes, I know. but I'm on the Gulf Coast, and get a breeze off the water every now and then.
but it's still hot. not complaining, but thanking God the Lord Jesus every day.

but I'm glad to hear it's getting better.

oh... spring has been gone, it's AIR CONDITION TIME in the daytime. summer is moving in. we had some 80's in feb and now it's in the 70's above constant.

but looking to hear from either you or Gram when the temp hits the first 70's

be blessed. I'll be watching for to hear those first 70's

Thank God summer is over for Victoria in Aus. It doesn't really snow much in my part, but the alps in Victoria and the mountains of Tassie had some snow last weekend, all melted for now though, we are still waiting for Winter.

It's summer here, scorching sun, better to stay indoors in the afternoon! Big business time for cool drinks and ice creams on the streets. Nice season to eat lot of ice creams!
