Soldiers For Christ

Hi there CB members i want to talk about a certain topic today. The subject today is soldiers, how do we relate to this reality as christians? well i will post scriptures that will tell us exactly that:

2nd Timothy 2:3 this scripture commands us to suffer hardship for christ, what does this mean. Quite simle evry day as christians we will be persecuted spiritually by someone weather its a question or another ill guided person claiming that the bible contradicts itself. Our government is on the rise to take god out of the equasion and replace america as a nation of many false religions but i have always siad though christ is not a religion i just have a eternal love relationshi going on with christ. Mian point of that scripture though we must endure under all circumstances

2nd Timothy 2:4 the main point of this is dont become involved with the ways of the world. So called worldly knowlege leads to evry sort of evil and unchristlike path. As christians we dont want anything to do with the vile ways of the world were just here to serve christ and plant seeds with other people.

I see, from several posts, your emphasis on what you see as dangers to our faith.

If you quench not the Holy Spirit of God many of theses dangers fall into subordinate concern. He is appointed, since Pentecost, to be the communicative essence of God's New Covenant and he will serve to filter out any error that you fear might pervert your faith.
Upload Him to his rightful place and you will have installed God's own appointed, perfect. and infallible Spyware and virus filter.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, and the Father and the Son are the only two others.

If I can say this without irreverance, even our Bible is not a Person of the Godhead; but even here the non existence of original manuscripts, the slight problems of verifying copies, the uncertainty of the process of 'canonising' which of the Apostolic writings should have been 'authorised' and which should have been rejected, the very questionable stated motivation behind the translation into English of the KJV, the repeated translatory errors of subsequent versions (all except Young's Literal Translation follow the KJV error of using the pagan concept of 'Hell' to mistranslate 'Hades', 'Gehenna', and 'Tartarus' 64 times in the New Testament alone) all these pale into insignificance if you afford God's Holy Spirit his rightful place in implanting into the "fleshy tables of your heart" all that you need to know as you read or listen to Human words.

With God's Holy Spirit truly at the helm we have nothing to fear in sailing through the stormy waters of our walk of faith and you can turn your attention (as a 'soldier if you will) to the more positive aspects of 'so great a salvation'.
