Is it pneumonia taken ?
I know that can be a risk with some procedures.
much love to you xxxx
They not saying it IS pneumonia. Fluid around heart rare after a surgery, however Heart Dr said it is presently acceptable. Waiting on Lung Dr to assess if Lung fluid can be infection wise preventative treated with antibodies (at home), and to help with fluid dissipation with diuretics. If so, he “might” be discharged today. His comfort and spirits much better today. Most of his family members are from a few hours distance to over 1,000 miles distance and hang on in anticipation of every positive update. Today so far is good!

Prayers and thoughts from the members here have been a great blessing. Thank you all!!

Glory to God,

I was certified in X-ray technology years ago and did get to see two views of sons chest X-rays from yesterday. Lower portion of lungs do have fluid accumulation and upper lungs fairly clear and he is assisted with a breathing tube.

Son update. Today had an upset. Was directed to a local hospital, chest X-rays for fluid check in the lungs. Yes there is. Cat scan performed to check for fluid around the heart. Yes there is. He was transferred to a separate Hospital Building next door to the first (same complex, with more specialized in equipment and specialist Doctors).
Been an all day affair from early AM to present sun setting, of checking, monitoring.

They have decided to admit him in Hospital. Rather he be there under supervision and necessary equipment to monitor and give aid.

Thank you all for your consideration to offer prayers for his comfort and full recovery.

Glory to God,
Taken
Continuing in prayer.

Son Update….
He is at home, YEAH! Doctors said assisted meds are working to cause fluids to dissipate. He rested soundly last night and said he is feeling Much better today. High spirits and expressed loving thanks to all who Have prayed for him and his recovery. After holiday festivities have passed he has an appointment with his doctor and another battery of tests, I suppose is a usual and routine post op measure.

Thanks to All who have offered prayers and well wishing on my sons behalf.

Glory to God,

I'm glad he's feeling better. This must be a difficult time for him and you. Continuing in prayer.
I Trust God and know He has already determined the day He (needs, requires) and will depart every persons living soul from their body. Of course those still living fear, find the time too short and are sad, mourn, when their day of bodily death occurs.

I am thankful God has looked over my son, extended his life, AND am thankful IF it had been a sad ending for me, that God IS Faithful and that my sons soul would have departed AND escorted to Gods Heavenly Kingdom, and later we would be reunited.

Again I am thankful for all who earnestly had a prayer conversation with God for my sons well being and recovery. AND as well my son also is thankful, to the people he does not know to make the effort to think of him and pray for him.

Glory to God,

Son update ~
So yesterday, the 4th…sons wife calls and asks if we are up to having company! Well of course! Are you guys “sure” for travel, (an hour and half distance one way)…??
Son had had a “red light therapy session, nap, woke up and was feeling really good”.
Red light therapy apparently not something new, but new to me. In brief…consisting of wave light, pulsation and heat, depending on tools capability, affects the outer layer, inner layers, of skin and tissue, cells and in some cases bones, with intent to allow oxygen and nutrients to enter and make “repairs” boost immunities.
His incisions at surgery site on chest, drain tube on abdomen and caths at wrist and upper thigh area all healing nicely, no infections. Having a week long diet of mostly liquids and diuretics flushing the fluids from lungs and around heart for the body to absorb the fluids, and his breathing capacity improving (as he uses a contraption) hourly to test / measure a set goal to accomplish looking very good. Very, very nice to see him from a few days ago in misery and intermittent comfort to a longer lasting comfort level. Passing along his Thankfulness to God and All who Prayed for him. God is Good. He hears. He is Faithful. Thank you and God Abundantly Bless you All.

Glory to God,

This is great news. God does come through for His own, Amen. So happy to hear this!
“red light therapy" is also new to me, and I worked in health care for 23 years!
Such good news, all the glory to God!

Hello, brother. I'm glad to hear your son is recovering well.

I have a red light belt for home use, which was recommended by my chiropractor. She also treats people in her office with red lights. It helps a lot with pain. I have been treated ongoingly for costochondritis, Tietze Syndrome, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and multiple other trauma-injury related issues. It is a big part of my routine ....along with diet, supplements, moist heat, and ice packs. She told me 6 weeks ago that I needed to rest my arms for 3 weeks. Idk when I'll ever be able to rest 3 weeks. I have animals, people, and a garden to look after. But I did get to rest most of the last 5 days.

Anyway ....not meaning to divert your thread. But I'm excited to see someone else get good results from red light therapy.

Blessings!

AJ

Son update ~
My son returned to work this week, working his regular (arson investigation) and side (police security for businesses) jobs. He said he is a bit tired but feeling good.

I was wondering about him getting a doctor release to work so soon…He didn’t take a medical leave, but instead traded some days, used a bit of vacation days and arranged through something he called Flex days, so that he didn’t require a doctor release and could get back to work, instead of sitting about idle!

Thank you All for your prayers and wellness thoughts.
Thanks and Blessings and Praise unto our Great Almighty Lord God, Amen!

Glory to God,
