I really do not understand why you think my vigorous opposition to ecstatic utterances is "over the top hostility". I think such an accusation is actually a deflection born of an inability to see or confront this idolatrous error within the church.
Paul never engaged in the idolatrous practice of ecstatic utterances which was common in the cult of Dionysus and which had infiltrated the church at Corinth. ACTUAL study of early church history reveals this to be so. NO APOSTLE in the entire New Testament engaged in such idolatrous behavior and it is certain that Paul is not bragging about his own participation in the practice.
Chapter 14 of 1 Corinthians makes it clear what he is talking about. IF it were a commonly encouraged practice it would have been mentioned in Paul's other letters to the various churches. But it is glaringly absent. This is because it was a pagan practice being abused by immature believers at Corinth.
Paul strongly condemned the practice when he stated he would rather speak 5 words with understanding than 10,000 in an  unknown (regionally uncommon) language with no understanding.
Have a good day sir, my participation in this futile debate has now come to an end.
Much peace, much love.

idolatrous error within the church

Sadly, that's very close to the line of claiming the Holy Spirit is actually a demon.

You should at least be honest and let everyone know you have been sitting under ministries of people who are cessationists which are those that choose to walk in unbelief concerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

You have wanted me to agree with you that Paul spoke/prayed/prophesied in tongues as they are practiced in the modern Charismatic churches today, and I am not going to do that. You have incorrectly quoted 1 Cor 14 : 18 as your proof text and have ignored 1 Cor 14:22.
This debate is futile because you refuse to rightly read the text in question from which this debate stems.
Good day.

Mr. Jackson:
Had you been reading this WHOLE thread you would have learned that I revealed early on that I was in the charismatic movement for the first 10 years of my 46 years of being saved by the blood of Christ.
If you had done that, you would not have dishonestly disparage me.

As I mentioned at that time; I know ALL the tricks of the charismatic apologists/polemicists. You are late to the party and have pulled one of their most heinous tricks out of your hat: i.e. accusing your opponent of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

The "spirit" of ecstatic utterances is NOT the Holy Spirit.
Make of that what you will.
