We all have heard many good messages on adoption. At one time it seemed you could hear a message or teaching on adoption more than you heard "you must be born again." What is the Spirit of adoption? Or adoption. Adoption is very simple, it is when you learn "the family spirit." The family of God has it's own language, and those that have been through the adoption process understand each other. The family of God has a spirit about it is like an aura, they that have been through the adoption process have that aura about them. You don't know what it is but you know it.

You are a birthed child of God, you are not adopted into some family as some suppose. When you get born again you have no idea about the things of God, so you learn, you go through a process of learning Christ, that is "the Spirit of adoption." That is the process of Phillippians 3:10, "being made conformable to his death."

You don't know anything about the new life that is in you, to learn that is "the Spirit of adoption." How many years were you in Christ before you knew anytime about it, Spirit of adoption. At some aspect of your Christian walk with God you will have to apply Galatians 4:1-2,

4 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

I like to use the Rockefeller family as an example because on a worldly scale they are up there. The Rockefeller child when born knows nothing of the family or family spirit. How to handle family business is what they will get trained in because of the great responsibility, they are put with governors and tutors who train them according to what Papa Rockefeller wants in his child. That is what they will learn until deemed ready to handle daily family business by Papa Rockefeller.

How much more does this work in a child of God. Think about it, they have been placed in Christ, and Christ is in them, means same thing, do you think they will be turned loose to just go out and conquer the world. You should rethink your religion, God does not need the world conquered he has a cross that has provided everything humanity will ever need to exist now and for eternity.

You might get some souls out of the world but the sin problem has been solved, and we try to resolve the world's trouble because we don't know better. Sin is the easiest thing you can preach against, conforming souls to Christ will be the hardest. When a ministry really has nothing to say they will rely on preaching against sin. That is childish because it is still operating from the knowledge of and evil, that is sad lack of knowledge.

Father Rockefeller teachs the ills of mismanagement, but does not spend all his time on keeping his child inline, when they learn the family spirit they stay inline. If they get out of line they stay under the governors and tutors until they do learn "the family spirit."

Romans 8 is another wonderful passage that speaks of the Spirit of Adoption, and the doctrinal implications of the truth surrounding Him.
