I don't think bashing entitled women helps society more than pointing out ways men and women complement and can work together for a better society.

Sure, sometimes it helps to mock someone with a gigantic ego. But I believe men and women still need each other and can grow past bitterness if theyre open to learning and practicing wisdom from the Lord.

Change rarely starts with pointing the finger unless that finger is first pointed at oneself.

Not women bashing? Never was concerned about political correctness. Fact is, feminists feel entitled. How this sin of pride is pointed out is less important than it is pointed out. This is very deceptive. What she was trying to say before she was rudely cut off is that she's always borne 100% of the financial burden for the men in her life. She's not willing to do that anymore. He didn't allow her to finish anything. She was saying that if a man marries her, it's understood that they are partners ...her debts become his, and his debts become hers. It's a partnership! She isn't willing to bear 100% of his and her own financial burdens while he does nothing.

There are plenty of good men out there with expectations of a significant other that are easily met.

Being respectful, nurturing, valuing physical intimacy, serving with a good attitude, and cheerfulness are traits any woman can develop. But in my experience, men are judged harshly for having any expectations of their girlfriends/wives.

Men and women are still meant to be a team. Mankind cannot fulfil the call to be fruitful and multiply without men and women"s cooperation.

The Pendulum of political power has swung heavy in women's favor, yet women are not happier. They initiate 70 percent of divorces and are more medicated for mental illness than ever before. Not to mention, obesity has become such a common problem that there are movements that declare its genetic and shouldn't be regarded as unhealthy.

The traditional lifestyle solves multiple problems at once....

My stress level, weight, and need for meds have all decreased.

My sense of fulfillment and satisfaction with my marriage has increased. Its an honor to be married to my husband and be trusted with his heart and vulnerabilities.

Before listening to feminism's take on a submissive home-centered lifestyle, its good to ask women who have chosen that lifestyle over career-mindedness.

These are all things I have aspired to from the time I was in my teens. And being a wife and mother, a keeper of the home, teaching children, etc were very fulfilling. I never had any pull to do anything different because those are the most important roles in society. Children without a mother at home are severely lacking in nurture, security, emotional well-being, etc. And that translates into insecure and unstable adults.

My children were taught to respect the home and belongings, as those were things their father (my husband) worked very hard for. We did our best to have things picked up and meals at regular times, etc ....clean clothes folded and put away, etc.

And yet, my experience has been that women are property, to be subservient, not alongside ....to be silent (not just in church), to be alone in protecting the children, to expect that if a man wants to throw his clothes on the bedroom or bathroom floor, that was fine, that because she is female, she must answer to every man and be submissive to every man.

So when I see the imbalance ...when I see men who take joy in lording over women, and bashing them, rather than encouraging them ...it sickens me. I know there are a few men out there who aren't like that. But I do mean .....FEW. It's very rare to find a man who truly loves and values his wife, and would protect her with his life.

Women are not less than, nor are they below a man. A wife is not less than her husband. She was given as a helpmeet because God saw that it wasn't good for man to be alone. She was taken from his rib. She stands alongside him ....not below him. She was taken from his rib, where he can protect her, shield her, value her. And she is confident in his love ...and her desire is to help, to support, to honor, to meet his needs ...but not to be used and taken for granted.

I identify with Christian Kingdom culture. Everything else is secondary. Being white or black doesn't mean anything if your family is awful. If they are, you might as well break away.

Apparently, my wife's ex hadn't heard that one, and when she got out of that situation, she found herself with two boys to raise and needing a job.

I'm old enough to remember the start of the feminist movement in the late 60s / early 70s. Although we joked a lot about the burning brassieres thing (look, we're guys, okay?), a lot of their issues were justified. And a lot of them were due to the failures of the men in their lives.

I would say the solution doesn't lie in simply pointing the finger at men or pointing the finger at women. The solution lies in getting back to reverencing the Word of God.

I think, after the way I've treated my husband in the past, I deserve to be alone.

But God is so merciful and so kind. He gave me a restored marriage and a family instead. He gave me a second chance.

My husband is the most amazing man I know. He could've left me. But he was resolved to stick things out. I thought I was more mature than him. But he has surpassed me in faithfulness. He has made me a better woman and I am so grateful.

It is our wish that those who see us are reminded of God's goodness and how His name is to be reverenced. When people see way we treat each other, I hope they se God's patience and kindness.

Wynona, please heed TLHKAJ's words. Thing is, that you (and some others) seem to believe that MOST of the men out there are "good" men.

They're not.

The time old saying "A good man is hard to find" is TRUE. Even if a man hasn't murdered anyone...follows the Commandments...doesn't necessarily make him a "good" man. Even if a man reads the bible every day...goes to church...STILL doesn't necessarily make him a "good" man. Plenty of men out there have abused the whole "Wives submit to your husbands", when the bible CLEARLY says in the sentence before that, that we are to submit to ONE ANOTHER.

If you think you've found yourself a "good" man, more power to ya. But so many women...don't. They get fooled, every day. And as much as you say that those conservative marriages have been working in YOUR eyes, think again.

I get the feeling from your postings that you really haven't been out 'in the world'...and somehow believes that your own 'bubble' represents ALL of the world.
