These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. - Acts 17:11.
What is a noble believer? A noble believer has sacrificed the knowledge of good and evil, worldly knowledge - even religious knowledge. For the knowledge that the Jesus in me is the real Jesus to me!
A noble believer is one who loves the word (the person of Christ in you), and can discern between the scriptures - and the word. They come to make the strongest distinction in scripture (given by holy men of God), that the word of God.. the person, God himself is the word! and the scripture is inspired and given by God.. whereby men can come to know the word of God.
But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people. - Acts 17:13.
