The two witnesses will be killed by the beast...

Revelation 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

So there has to be some time period that both the two witnesses and the beast will be present on earth in Jerusalem at the same time.

But that time period is not 3.5 years. For several reasons.

The main one being that the 1260 days of the two witnesses will be the first half of the 7 years.

So where does the common period occur on the 7 year timeline, and how long is it ? It will be 75 days long, from when the abomination of desolation is set up on the temple mount until the end of the two witnesses activities.

During that 75 days, the two witnesses will smite the earth with plagues (Revelation 11:6) , to give cover for them in Judea to flee to the mountains for safety. Matthew 24:15-16.

See my chart below of the two witnesses' activities. The 75 days period is on the chart down at the bottom.

The first woe is finished at the end of the fifth trumpet:

Revelation 9:12 (KJV) One woe is past; [and], behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

The Two Witnesses are clearly resurrected right before the end of the second woe (assuming the second woe starts at the 6th trumpet and continuing the theme of the first woe being the 5th trumpet, making the 7th trumpet the 3rd woe).

Revelation 11:12 (KJV) And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Revelation 11:13-14 (KJV) 13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. 14 The second woe is past; [and], behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

That means they are here on earth until right before the end of the 6th Trumpet.

The first trumpet doesn’t even sound until the seventh seal is opened: (on your graphic you have the 5th trumpet aligned with the 6th seal…)

Revelation 8:1-2 (KJV) 1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. 2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

This means the sixth trumpet and second woe…which the two witnesses are clearly on earth for…is well after your “first 3.5 year” theory.

The two witnesses stand in direct opposition to the Antichrist and false prophet right up until the 7th trumpet and third woe.

One passage doesn’t make a doctrine and doesn’t give any justification to your hypothesis.

You don’t know, or would properly interpret the passages or give a proper rebuttal beyond one passage that uses the same word.

By your definition two churches are killed on the streets of Jerusalem. Rev 11 is mirrored in Zech 4. They are called two witnesses, two candlesticks, two prophets, two anointed ones, two olive trees, two branches. Scripture is clear these are two distinct people, not groups of people.

Revelation 11:4 (KJV) These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
I Agree 100%

I understand Gods words to be that the "Golden Oil" being poured out of the (Two Witnesses) will be the plagues upon the earth in judgement for the prayers of the saints and their shed blood in the seven "Golden Vials"

Zechariah 4:11-14KJV
11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?
12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?
13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.
14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Revelation 5:7-8KJV
7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

Revelation 6:9-10KJV
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Revelation 15:6-7KJV
6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

I Agree 100%

It's simple and very easy to understand

The beast kills the two witnesses, 3.5 days later they're raised to heaven, in the same hour the great earthquake takes place as the 2nd woe is past, and quickly after the 3rd woe takes place in the 7th Trump (The End) In The Second Coming and Final Judgement

Problem: When a person has invested years into developing charts and graphs that are "Wrong" they have 2 choices,

(1.) Stand corrected, then follow biblical truth
(2.) Fight to protect what is wrong and not found in scripture

False Foundations: Dispensationalism has removed this biblical truth to promote "Fear" in that the (Two Witnesses) have 3.5 years "Before" The Beast shows up, and it falsely teaches that the Church will be on earth alone opposing The Beast "A Lie"

The Two Witnesses will rule and dominate the 3.5 years, representing God's judgements through plagues brought as often as they will, a complete remake of Moses/Aaron against Pharaoh of Egypt

The Two Witnesses are clearly resurrected right before the end of the second woe (assuming the second woe starts at the 6th trumpet and continuing the theme of the first woe being the 5th trumpet, making the 7th trumpet the 3rd woe).
The presentation about the first two woes ends with the close of Revelation 9.

Then Revelation 11 starts up a new topic - i.e. the activities of two witnesses.

The activities of the two witnesses end in Revelation 11:13.

Then in Revelation 11:14, the topic returns to talking about the woes.

Your Claim Is "False"

The 2nd woe is (completed/past) in (The Same Hour) the two witnesses are raised to heaven, simple, clear, and before your eyes

Revelation 11:11-14KJV
11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake
, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Once again, their flesh died..it no longer exists. They experienced the first death, just in a different manner than almost everyone else. So your opinion that they didn’t die so they must be the two end time prophets simply isn’t accurate. Their flesh and bones died…

They are the typology of the “changed in the twinkling of the eye” for those who are alive and remain.

That’s why John the Baptist came in the Spirit and power of Elijah at the first coming of Jesus Christ and not in the physical body because it no longer exists…

The key here is the Spirit that empowered Elijah is the Holy Spirit, which can make anyone He chooses have the same power and gifts that Elijah had. There is zero evidence or scripture that support the two prophets being a translated Enoch and Elijah, when the typology is a different person like John the Baptist operating in the Spirit of.

There is no reason, given John’s heralding at the first coming, to go off on a completely different typology that doesn’t exist anywhere in The Word for the second coming.
I Agree that scripture doesn't name the future (Two Witnesses) and I agree 100% with your explanation of John the Baptist coming in the Spirit and power of Elijah fulfilling scripture

Scripture clearly teaches that the (Two Witnesses) will be (Prophets) that have (Physical Bodies That Die) anything more is suggestive guesswork

Just a note, the False Prophet will call fire from heaven before The Beast, with this immitating a false representation of Elijah before the world?

Jesus Is The Lord

Revelation 11:9-10KJV
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

This quake happens at the end of the 6th trump. The quake in the 7th vial happens within the 7th trump and is found here:

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

And is mentioned here as well:

Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

Notice the same things happening:

11:19 lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail

16:18 voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake
16:21 a great hail

Same timeframe and same earthquake but not the same earthquake in 11:13

So, there is a smaller 6th trump earthquake and there is a larger (greatest in human history) quake in the 7th trump specifically when the 7th vial is poured.

When I got asked by one I met to come to his house to hold a Bible study, a brother whom I had never met before, his parents believed a Post-trib coming, but his older brother and his wife were going to a Pre-trib Rapture Church, so my friend was in a family conflict. I went through the Zechariah 14 Chapter with them, which they should... have been taught, because it gives the detail of where... and how... Lord Jesus returns back to this earth from those clouds and all the Church gathered to Him in those clouds descending to earth with Him.

They were just as blind to that Zechariah 14 Chapter as many on man's Pre-trib Rapture theory still are today, nor did they understand, and probably still don't. Apostle Paul did not cover the 'where' or 'how' Lord Jesus descends and returns to earth. Acts 1 only hints at it with the two angels saying Jesus will 'come in like manner' as his disciples saw Him ascend to Heaven, from the Mount of Olives.

To put it more simply, the Scriptures reveal that the saints that have died in Christ Jesus brings with Him from Heaven at His descent to the earth. Then those of us still alive on earth on that same day, are "caught up" to Him and them, in the clouds, ON HIS WAY to the Mount of Olives on earth. The Heavenly dimension on that "last trump" of 1 Cor.15 is when Heaven will be opened up on earth for all to see, even those who pierced Jesus as written in Revelation 1.

And I think it hilarious with trying to mock me about thinking too much by my flesh obviously by someone who does not understand how in God's Eternity of the new heavens and a new earth is not about living off away up in the clouds, but literally upon the earth, where The Father and The Son will both dwell.
Have you considered that the rapture of the 2 witnesses/144,000 is entirely separate from the time of Jesus' return? This is entirely new information not found in other texts. No one else is raptured with them. They go up into the clouds by themselves. They are seen on heavenly Mt Zion without other people. Jesus does not come to meet them in the air.

I don't find a rapture in 1 Cor 15. I find a change from mortal to immortal at the time of the last trumpet. I believe the last trumpet is the last time God's voice will be heard in this present creation. This will be the time when by his voice, the elements are dissolved in fire. IMO 1 Cor 15 occurs 1,000 years after the rapture and right before a new heaven and earth are created.

In regard to mocking, I was using your words so that you might learn not to use them. I guess that didn't work. At least try to understand a point of view that is different from your own before mocking it.

IMO "seven churches" in Asia (i.e. Turkey) are seven groups, each consisting of Christians gathered together.

"Church" is Greek εκκλησια, from:
o. εκ=out,
o. κλησις = calling

i.e. believers "called out" to serve the one true God, rather than serving mythological Roman gods.

The 2nd woe is (completed/past) in (The Same Hour) the two witnesses are raised to heaven, simple, clear, and before your eyes
You left out Revelation 10.
------------------------------------------------------

Revelation 9 speaks about the first two woes, what those will be.

Revelation 10 then begins. John eats the little book in Revelation 10:9-11.

Revelation 11 then begins, a new topic completely separate from talking about the woes of Revelation 9.
The new topic of Revelation 11 is about the two witnesses activities. Which that topic ends in Revelation 11:13.

Revelation 11:14 then reverts back to speaking about the woes.

Within 75 days, the time that I believe it will take to pour out God's wrath.
Thanks for the response, I Disagree

In (The Same Hour) following the two witnesses being raised to heaven the great earthquake takes place, at this time the 2nd woe is (completed/past) and the 3rd woe comes "Quickly" in the 7th Trump/Angel sounding (The End) Rev 11:15 as the final judgment takes place Rev 11:18

Conclusion: No place in scripture below does the timing allow for a 75 day gap, it will be a matter of (Hour(s)/Minutes) between what you see as two earthquakes

Revelation 11:12-15KJV
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

How long does the third woe to the inhabiters of the earth last ? Who is the falling star from heaven in Revelation 9:1 ? (It is Satan cast down to earth, at the beginning of the third woe.)

The Bible clearly teaches that the Lord's vial plagues in judgement will be upon the entire unsaved humans upon earth, those who have the mark of the beast and worship the image, simple, clear, easy to understand

Revelation 16:2KJV
2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth
IMO:
Jesus will return at the midpoint of the "seven" (years), where "year" = 360 days.

"Earth" is Greek γη = "land," there was no concept of a spherical earth in Biblical times.

The scripture teaches the "second woe" takes place after the two witnesses are raised to heaven (The Same Hour) as the entire world is watching

The scripture teaches the "3rd woe" comes "Quickly" and it doesn't mean days, weeks, or months

There's no such thing as a 7 year tribulation found in scripture, it will be a 3.5 year or 42 month or 1260 day tribulation, all describing g the same

The Beast will be given 42months or 3.5 years and the tribulation starts when the Abomination Of Desolation takes place as The Beast is revealed to the world

The Two Witnesses will be given the same time of 1260 days or 3.5 years, (The Beast) and the (Two Witnesses) will be on the earth during the great tribulation at the very same time, up to the 3rd woe-7th Trump

Revelation 11:14, it will be quickly revealed what the third woe to the inhabiters of the earth will be.

What is the third woe to the inhabiters of the earth, that is revealed in Revelation 12 ? And how long does that third woe last ?
