Refusing to take responsibility for your approach and hand balling it onto the bible is nothing short of chronic immaturity.
Is that why I defend the Bible, the Word of God, and you attack the Bible?

Well I do not deny any word of Scripture as it is rightloy divided. But as to these "new revelations" you wish to say are just as much divine as the bible- I must see them and see how they do not contradict what has been passed down since the apostles.

I suppose you support the book of MOrmon and the teachings of teh Watchtower. They claim they came from god. what standard do you use to disagree with these "revelations" from god?
The "standard" is God's.

But what I see in you is a closed mind, not open to what has been written and fulfilled by God's own established method, not fully to the end. You should at least be warned that shutting off that flow is the measure that will also be measured to you.

As for the mormans or others, or any for that matter, all are "known by their fruits." Which does not give any of us license to rule out what we think is even crazy, or even what we see as non-biblical. Just look at the crazy things Jesus seemingly did: He claimed we needed to eat his flesh, quoted scripture seemingly out of context, and went against the majority of learned would-be "biblical" authority. Add that to God ordering the death of indigenous people, making a donkey talk, using a pagan king to save Israel--and nothing is off the table.

As for what and who is actually legit and actually sent by God--they will prove out scripturally. But what has occurred down through the ages? Did good men of God figure it out beforehand, did they see it all coming? No, they learned to see the signs of the weather, but not the signs of the times.

Which, if you are not more careful, puts you in the camp of foretold "naysayers."

So I guess you do accept the teachings of Mormons and the Watchtower as from god! these are wonderful people showing the fruit of the spirit as defined by Galatians 6.

I am completely open to what is written , so your words are a lie! I am not opposed to "new revelation" if it conforms to Scripture.

Jesus was Giod manifest in the flesh, so He could do as He saw and heard from His Father. we are not! He opposed the religious leaders of His day for their "new revelations". they were expert not in Scripture, but in their handed down "new revelations" Most of which contradicted the bible.

You write very murkily, not giving specific answers except to accuse me.

So let me ask you directly. Do you believe the teachings of the Mormons, Jehovahs Witnesses, Christian Scientists and other "cults" are revelations from god or not? If not, what is the standard you use to say they are false>

Let me be more direct and ask you to answer directly and not do this tap dance and give non-answer answers.

Sincere believers strongly disagree on these following issues.

1. Marian Visions
2. Universal salvation
3. No lake of fire for eternity
4. One must speak in tongues if they have received the holy spirit.

Do you believe these are right or wrong? A simple yes or no is all that is needed. and then by what authority do you use to say these are right or wrong. YOu know what is being asked of you and how simple the answer needs to be. So what say you?

You don't get to make error after error and then ask questions. I have corrected you on each of those errors and given you time and room to see what should be clear. But still you deny the revelation--new to this world--that is written of and foretold to be revealed just before then end. Again I invite you to acknowledge your error, or carry it.

Yu corrected me according to your doctrine but not by the Word. My questions still stand. do you agree or disagree with those positions and by what authority do you take your stand.

And I am still unclear as to what revelation you are speaking of. You write in such an obtuse and murky way, it is hard to understand what exactly you are trying to say.

And do not dodge my questions. answer them as a matter of Christian charity.

Does anyone know what percentage of 'All Scripture' is contained in their bible?
100% in mine.

The whole Bible is breathed out by God.

It's authors of both Old and New Testaments were inspired by God, including Solomon in Ecclesiastes writing from a deliberately limited awareness perspective, and that’s the key to unlocking the whole book.

The Perspective: “Under the Sun” Consciousness

Solomon writes Ecclesiastes from what you could call a closed‑horizon, earthbound, observational viewpoint — a perspective intentionally restricted to what can be seen, measured, or experienced “under the sun.”

This phrase appears nearly 30 times and functions like a narrative camera setting.

What “under the sun” means

It’s a perspective that:
  • Excludes divine revelation
  • Excludes eternal perspective
  • Excludes covenantal hope
  • Excludes resurrection or final justice
  • Restricts itself to human reasoning, empirical observation, and lived experience
In other words, Solomon is exploring:
“If all you had was what you can see — no prophetic insight, no eschatology, no covenant promises — what would life look like?”

And the answer is:
Hevel — vapor, breath, enigma, futility.

Why Solomon uses this limited perspective

He’s not confused. He’s demonstrating something.

He’s showing the reader the limits of human wisdom when it is disconnected from God’s ultimate purposes.
It’s a kind of philosophical experiment, a tour through the human condition when viewed from the ground level.

Think of it as:
  • A deconstruction of human meaning-making
  • A critique of secular or purely rationalistic worldviews
  • A diagnosis of life without transcendent reference points
He’s saying:
“Let me show you what the world looks like if you try to make sense of it without God’s eternal frame.”

The Two Lenses in Ecclesiastes

Solomon switches between two awareness modes:

1. Under-the-sun awareness

  • Life is repetitive
  • Justice is inconsistent
  • Death levels everything
  • Human achievement evaporates
  • Pleasure cannot satisfy
  • Wisdom cannot secure outcomes
This is the dominant lens.

2. Above-the-sun intrusions

Occasionally he breaks the frame and reminds the reader:
  • God will judge
  • God gives joy
  • God is sovereign
  • Fear God and keep His commandments

These moments are like shafts of light breaking into an otherwise dim room.

The Big Insight

Solomon writes Ecclesiastes from the perspective of a man who has:

  • Maxed out human experience
  • Exhausted every earthly avenue of meaning
  • Reached the limits of human wisdom
And from that vantage point he concludes:
Without God’s eternal perspective, everything collapses into vapor.

It’s not nihilism — it’s anti-nihilism by demonstration.

He takes the reader to the edge of despair so they can see the necessity of divine perspective.

What does it matter who agrees with who? Do you want to control the show? We all stand on our own when it comes to being on the ball or not.

Ok. What about every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. What percentage of this is found in your bible?

The whole Bible is breathed out by God.
Not all. Paul breathed out some of his own.

Paul said, to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. 1Co 7:12

And.....

1Co 7:25 Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment (opinion or advice)

You will confuse yourself when Jesus does not become the litmus for interpreting scripture.
Christians generally have not been taught how to do this so they read and interpret the OT as if Jesus never existed.
Do you know how to interpret scripture through the lens of Jesus?

It's authors of both Old and New Testaments were inspired by God
2 Pet 1:20 But you need to realize that no one alone can understand any of the prophecies in the Scriptures. 21 The prophets did not think these things up on their own, but they were guided by the Spirit of God.

As are the Children of God, the members of the church.

Rom 8:14 Certainly, all who are guided by God’s Spirit are God’s children.

Solomon was not a greater human than any child of God. He had the Spirit of God guide him externally while we have the very same Spirit guiding us from within us.

I think I know who'd I'd rather be. The same Spirit from within moves, carried, leads, speaks and guides us into all truth. So the words of God are flowing freely into and out from the members of Christ's body. This is incredible. God's truths are being constantly downloaded in us so that they can be revealed on our monitor for all to see. Our Spirit led lives reveal the glory of God Himself. Woohoo! What a privilege hey.

In 2026 a new year lies new truths. I can't wait to receive them.

Did God tell you this directly? Or did Solomon himself? Just that this isn't recorded in the bibles.

Otherwise wouldn't you say that this would be a human opinion. Which one is entitled to have.

It's the result of studying in conjunction with the Holy Spirit's guidance to cut right into the word of truth

2Ti 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

You can claim that if you like. How can YOU be sure YOU have rightly divided what God has said or meant?
