YOu have a confusion going on here.

there are two books mentioned in your passages.

Teh book of the living, which every name of every person who lived was witten. When they died there names were removed! That is why Abraham said blot his name out, he was asking for death to atone for Israel.

The book of Life is the Lambs Book and that and lists the saved only.

How so?

God wrote a book with all who would live, and blotted out all who were imputed with sin. There is no universalism there.

Well the first is the book of the living.

The second refers to the Lambs Book of Life which only the saved appeared.

There is also what many think is a book called the book of works, though I do not see evidence in Scripture of any book being called that.

Yes that is what is known as teh book of the living! all humans are in that book while alive and the beginning and ending are written there.

God does not literally write names into a literal book then literally blot them out of said literal book that is kept in a literal throne room.

The book of life is not a literal list of saved people.

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63)

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (Eph 6:17)

Again, Jesus Christ is the book of life.
