They have to eat., so, instead of worrying about how they will deal with the money........just realize that they have to eat.

See, we can't control what other people do, but we can give to the poor, as we are instructed to do.

Let me show the Reader a verse, if you are all tied up in your head, worrying that the money that you give to someone who is poor, is not going to be used as you would have it.

Notice this verse.

Luke 6:35 ....... "God is kind to the ungrateful and the evil".

See that?

That is how we are to consider our help.
We dont qualify them as being worthy for our help.
What we do is see the need and give.

I used to give money to them .
Till more than once , yes more than once i even seen them buying , beer.
Look i aint saying one cannot give
but friend why are we so lazy that we cannot just give them FOOD .
Of course we are not responsible to what one does with that money .
But friend you have to realize not ALL , but many of them are TRAPPED IN BONDAGE
to drugs . And i wont be an enabler to do that my friend .
NOW i aint saying NOT to give ,
But there is a better way to do things my friend .
I had some even come into the store i used to work at
and cause they knew i was chrsitain
THEY would try and quoate what little verses they knew
ABOUT GIVING UNTO THE LEAST of these , through even drunk lips as they wanted money .
Look i aint saying not to give , BUT we need some serious discernment in the building .

So, because you see some of them not using the money as you want, you just stopped giving to any of them?
How is that right?

Listen, dont focus on THEM.........as God is looking at YOU.... at your heart, and at my heart.
He knows all about them...........and when He tells us to give, that is what He means.
Its HIS money, and we get to use it, and He told us to give to the Poor.
Jesus said...."the poor will always be with you".

God never told us to "only give to the rightesous poor".. "only give to the poor who will be responsible".

C'mon.
The reason they are poor and living out of a dumpter is because they have messed up their lives.
So, they are not responsible, and that is why they are on the street.

So, lets help them.......according to the instruction to give to the POOR.
Are they poor?
That that is all we need to know.

They do have to eat . Give them food to eat .
The next time one comes up to ask you for money for food .
Tell them okay here let me take you to the store .
IF all of a sudden you start hearing , no , no i can do this or etc
I would not GIVE THEM anything . other than
i would continue to say here let me take you to a store and lets buy some food for you .
But then that becomes TIME for us to be having to do something .
There is a time to give
but what if one wont work . should we give them bread or .....................
Again i aint saying DO NOT give . IF you want to keep giving money then do so .
But i was just trying to help you so as you might not enable them . DUE TO
well that sure aint good for them . Always pray before giving too . But yes i do always encourage
taking care of the poor . So this was not an attack at all . Just a reminder .

Again you just took the WHOLE thing out total context . SLOW DOWN thine MIND my friend .
I never said it was due to just that .

Did God have to pray about it first, when He told us to "give to the poor"?

What you refuse to accept and respect is that I support them with tangible goods that keep their belly filled and their head shaded in summer and warm and dry in winter.

I read that your relatives support them, partially, with money given to them as donations., according to what you posted.
So, that is money for the poor, and im offering them money into their hand.
You dont seem to be able to comprehend that its the same thing.

Its MONEY given ..........first and foremost, and in your original post to me, you encouraged the members here not to do that for the poor.

So, you can dodge, and imply, and redirect and falsely accuse..... and continue to try to deflect, and ill continue to simply state what you originally posted.
