They are.
I agree.
No. Absolutely not.
Presenters of a fictionalized Jesus aren’t completely off the hook. They’re leading people.

We know. You've stated many times how you've foolishly wasted so much of your life, becoming a bitter and resentful soul.
You call these people fools and flatter yourself that you are responsible for their transformation to become wise. You accomplis this despite the awful effects of art on their foolish understanding. A toast to your glory!

Well, it is A solution.Suicide isn’t the solution.
Well, it is A solution.
You've beaten to death that mere mortals are incapable of leading others to Christ. All we can do is lead them astray. So, suicide is better than continuing to do the bad we cannot stop doing, right?
Or do you suppose that your posts here are not that impactful? That shows such as The Chosen will continue unabated despite your crusade? I am confused.
I binged watch seasons 1,2, and 3 because all the talk about it from some folks in bible studies. 1,2 were mediocre at best. Jesus is an authority person and controls every conversation in the bible. There is no saying no to Jesus, The Pharisee's and the best lawyers couldn't trap Jesus. Jesus never revealed His divine plans or plan a speech. He would sit and talk for hours and never mess up. Season 3 should have MA rating that's all I'll say about that. I'll not watch season 4.
The creator of the series said he took liberty with the making of the chosen. I was against it at first but decided to watch it over the past few weeks and have no problems with it. If you look at the forum we have all kinds of different ideas about the bible so why should it be any different for a series like the chosen. Just filter out the biblical content from where they take liberty by filling in the gaps that are not word for word in the bible. Just my 2 cents fwiw.“There are more problems with The Chosen than the bad theology involved and the Mormon influence on the show. …”

The Chosen—Godly Truth or Dangerous Fiction?

I’ve only watched part of one episode, and found it to be wildly inaccurate. That’s hardly a fair hearing.
Programming like this is a pet peeve of mine. (There’s my bias.) I’ve met too many people who get their theology from television and movies rather than from the Bible.
The Chosen is a fictional account, a dramatization, of the biblical Jesus story. The writers take certain creative liberties to provide entertainment for their audience.
I‘m aware that many people love this program. Several whom I’ve spoken with acknowledge the inaccuracies and don’t allow it, they say, to influence their theology.
But what about those who love the program and aren’t aware that it is inaccurate? What is it doing to their theology?
Is it harmless or is it dangerous? Let me know what you think.
A question I have now for fans of the program: Is The Chosen suitable for viewing by minors?
Are entertainers teachers?
Should those who present a fictionalized Jesus in television programs and movies be considered teachers?
Do they consider themselves teachers?
You have a contemptible works based theology.Presenters of a fictionalized Jesus aren’t completely off the hook. They’re leading people.
This shows how desperate and hateful you are of those who do what God calls them to do.Are entertainers teachers?

The producers of the The Chosen are leading people to Christ. Fact. But they are not "on the hook" for that; the merely planted the seed. God causes the seed to grow. All glory to God.
They did not plant the seed perfectly, you say? Give me a break! What is your solution; don't make art inspired to glorify God?
This shows how desperate and hateful you are of those who do what God calls them to do.
If only you could get the produers of The Chosen into the category of "teacher," why then you'd have them.

You got that right! You have the heart of a fan, not of a pastor.
Jealousy is an ugly emotion. If it’s only entertainment, that’s one thing. If they’re teaching something, then that’s another.
I doubt this is true …
