And with the changing of the priesthood, God’s Word tells us there is also a change of the law.

Hebrews 7:12
For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
Yes
I totally agree with this
The law wasnt changed......the ONLY change was in regard to the priesthood

[1Co 15:22 KJV] 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
You really think that that little snippet is an answer to what I wrote?
It isn't.
So, if the remnant of Israel is "in Christ", why are they not "the body of Christ"?
What do you think it means to be "in Christ"? They are mystically unified with the body of Christ, partaking in both His death and resurrection. In what sense do they partake? Well, in the sense that the Jewish believer is free from his Covenantal obligation to serve God by means of Torah : the Torah is binding only on the living Jew, but, because Jewish believers die with Christ (this is just the reality of the Gospel, not "Paul's" Gospel, as if it were different from "Peter's"), the Law is no longer binding upon them (Ro 7:1-6). The reason they are "dead" is "through the body of Messiah" (Ro 7:1-6)--being "in Christ" means having shared in His death and resurrection, BECAUSE they are "the body of Christ".

Incest used to be a holy command (Gen 1), now, it is a work of the devil.
Keeping vows used to be a holy command, now, it is of the evil one (Mt 5; Ja 5).

Because they are two different churches
There are three churches in scripture.........the church in the wilderness......the church of God of the remnant........the body of Christ
So, you don't think they're eating the body of Christ, and drinking His blood, so that He is in them and they are in Him (John 6)?

That verse is not saying the old covenant ended with John

Jesus said it does.

What part of "were until" did you have issues understanding?

The new covenant is future......
:funlaugh2

Well continue living under the old covenant and see what happens to ya.

the ones who are "in Christ" have "no condemnation" (Ro 8:1),

No, you left out the part of this verse that tell us who is no under condemnation

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Only those In Christ walking after the leading of the Holy Spirit are no longer under condemnation

They false teaches love to omit this part of Romans 8:1 since it does not fit their fake gospel.

Here's more for your continued spiritual growth and education:

Romans 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Romans 8:13,14

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

The law wasnt changed......the ONLY change was in regard to the priesthood

It's false doctrine to claim Jesus is still teaching the law of moses.

Better luck next time.

Showing Peter that the Gentiles were not to be considered unclean is not the same as being one new man
Peter never preached that Jew and Gentile were one new man that was only revealed thru Paul
Peter did eat with the Gentiles but was afraid of the circumcision
You emptily assert it, but the evidence, IMO--the evidence I pointed to--goes the other way. It really would have been a sin for Peter to have EATEN with Gentiles, because "Israel is a nation that dwells alone", etc, but that was over now, because the Gentiles were accepted, and the division was gone.

The new covenant is future...... it will put into effect when Israel is in the land ,,,,,God will put his law in their hearts and cause them to do them

[Heb 10:16-17 KJV] 16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
You really are a Black Hebrew Israelite, aren't you?

Yeah, actually, he does : the ones who are "in Christ" have "no condemnation" (Ro 8:1), but the one who does not walk in faith "is condemned" (Ro 14:23)
Yes I agree
BUT we arent condemnded in the sense of losing salvation

Paul rejected Christ and persecuted the remnant
Paul says he will inherit a heavenly kingdom not an earthly kingdom like the remnant....................[2Ti 4:18 KJV] 18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve [me] unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Nah, he said God is saving a remnant of Israel today, and is doing it by grace (Ro 11)--and Paul preached salvation by Grace through faith, and, thus, those Jews who believed in his message of grace were part of the remnant of Israel being saved.

Good question
I dont know of any scripture that says they do, do you?
Romans 7:1-6 says the Jewish believer is free from his obligation to serve God by the Law BECAUSE HE HAS DIED. How did the Jewish believer achieve death? "Through the body of Messiah"--ie, through being unified with Christ through faith.
Look at these verses

[Rom 6:3 KJV] 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

We are baptized into his death

We are baptized into Christ by the Spirit

[1Co 12:13 KJV] 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether [we be] Jews or Gentiles, whether [we be] bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

The remnant didnt have the Spirit until after he was glorified

[Jhn 7:39 KJV] 39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet [given]; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Yeah... buddy, how do you think we are baptized into His death? By being baptized INTO HIM Who has died and been raised. We are in Him and He is in us. We therefore share in the realities that are true of Him--eg, His death, His resurrection.

Yeah, actually, he does : the ones who are "in Christ" have "no condemnation" (Ro 8:1), but the one who does not walk in faith "is condemned" (Ro 14:23)--meaning they are not abiding in Christ.
You cant say that abiding in Christ is the same however because we are secure in our salvation

[Jhn 15:6 KJV] 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.

They had no such assurance

Peter preached faith in the name of Christ..........................
[Act 3:16 KJV] 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
[Act 4:12 KJV] 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

John clarifies what believing on his name is......................
[Jhn 3:18 KJV] 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
[Jhn 20:31 KJV] 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
[1Jo 5:13 KJV] 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

To believe on his name is to believe Jesus is Christ the Son of God, which he is

My point is if one says they all preached the same gospel and if you just believe Jesus is the Son of God, and thats al, thenl thats not the gospel we must beleieve to be saved
Nope, I already proved Peter preached much more than that, you have just decided to act as if I hadn't.

Also, Peter and Paul cited the same verse "whoever calls on the Name of the LORD shall be saved"--they preached the same Gospel, as I have detailed.

So Peter was not taught well enough by Jesus or empowered by the Spirit.....I know you dont mean that but rethink what you are saying
Are you saying you think you knew as much on the day you received the Spirit as you do today? Granted, it's the same nonsense, I'm sure, but you know a lot more nonsense today, right? LOL!

I don't really want to change the topic--you have a way of changing the topic.

[Joe 2:32 KJV] 32 And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Calling on the name of the Lord was directed to Israel
Interesting, because Paul uses that same verse in his exposition of the Gospel to the Roman Church.
Peter preaching Christ crucified was an indictment against Israel not redemption
No, 3000 were saved on that day--of the very same people Peter says crucified Jesus.
It can be both condemnation and salvation--same thing Paul says ("God is righteous to condemn your sin" and "God is righteous to justify the one He forgives").

The Law didn't change?
Incest used to be a holy command (Gen 1), now, it is a work of the devil.
Keeping vows used to be a holy command, now, it is of the evil one (Mt 5; Ja 5).
Just saying the law was changed in regard to the priesthood
