@amigo de christothe hour is very late and the delusion has grown great and greater shall it grow
till it has completely convinced this generation
that the only hope it has for peace n safety IS TO RID this earth of all them dangerous ones
who did not conform . ps , them so called dangerous ones , WILL BE THE NON CONFORMING sheep of JESUS the CHRIST .
Blood has come upon all generations , THIS LAST will be far worse than all .
SO i have no choice but to warn this people , beware of that which is of anti christ and heed not
its cry of love and unity and to merge as one and find common ground , it will be THEIR DOOM on the day of the LORD .
AND i have no choice but to warn and remind us
WE better be willing and ready TO LOSE EVERYTHING , even our own lives . IT WILL GET VERY bad david .
AND I just dont know how much longer till it all BLOWS ITS TOP . but IT WILL BLOW its top
and THEN THEY WILL COME for the saints to rid us from this earth and even believe they do GODS WILL .
@amigo de christowhat concerns me is how many have been letting HIM IN .
Into they churches to teach and to seduce this people right into the fat lie .
Many of his co workers now dress even in wool
but the lambs they cannot fool .
FOR KING JESUS has the sheep
And they dont feed from interfaiths STANK heap .
SO enjoy this rhyme and point to CHRIST while it called today
Cause many are under interfaiths sway
And the end of that and all within
Will be a lake of fire and stone called brim
Time to point to the glorious Risen Savoir
For HIS words it be that the sheep do savor and so enjoy that flavor .
FOR IT IS TRUTH indeed my friend . NOW to the trenches one and all .
It is true that the OT saints didn't receive what was promised to them (while alive on earth) as it says in Heb. 11:39 - the promised Holy Spirit and ability to come boldly to the throne of grace/holy of holies, because it could only be received and entered through the new covenant in Christ who came later. But they did receive it after death when Jesus died and went and preached the gospel to them. It's the same promise that God made to them that is promised to us.......the promised Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, by which the church receives salvation, the inheritance of an eternal dwelling - an eternal "city" and eternal life for all who believe/receive Him, as well as the ability to walk in it now in this life.So why did God make them in the first place and not all together in the first century. I think you are missing details of God`s purpose for them. The OT saints are promised the city, (Heb. 11: 16) whereas we, the Body of Christ have been promised the throne - Christ`s own throne in the highest. (Rev. 3: 21. Eph. 1: 20 - 22)
Ruling with Christ didn't come with the old covenant, that's all. But they did receive the full inheritance and were made perfect/complete after death, as I mentioned in my previous post.Yes, the heavenly Jerusalem is the `mother of us all.` And the heavenly Jerusalem is made up of two parts, (as is the earthly one). The city is NOT on the hill but further down. They are separate. King David had the ruling part on Mount Zion and the people were in the city further down.
1. Mount Zion - the ruling part. Christ`s own throne. (Ps. 2: 6)
2. The city - for the OT saints. (Heb. 11: 16)
Paul had more revelation concerning the Gentiles having a part in the new covenant, I think especially since after the Jews rejected his preaching, he became "apostle to the Gentiles" and began reaching out mainly to them. So, the Apostle Paul was never given the revelation of the Body of Christ? (Eph. 3: 3 - 7)
Note: further revelation than the 12 apostles.
I think I can help with this sister. Two witnesses. Scripture says to "let every word be established in the mouth of two or three witnesses". God wanted two or three witnesses to establish the truth of the gospel and Jesus Christ....Jew, Gentile and the Holy Spirit. So why didn`t God just make ONE group to start with?
When someone is not content to rely on God`s word they resort to ridiculing the other person. Not good.
[Rom 11:5 KJV] 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.Nah, he said God is saving a remnant of Israel today, and is doing it by grace (Ro 11)
You said..................So, would you deny that the ones who you say are "in Christ", but not "Christ's body", share in Christ's death and resurrection?Romans 7:1-6 says the Jewish believer is free from his obligation to serve God by the Law BECAUSE HE HAS DIED. How did the Jewish believer achieve death? "Through the body of Messiah"--ie, through being unified with Christ through faith.
[Rom 10:1 KJV] 1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.Interesting, because Paul uses that same verse in his exposition of the Gospel to the Roman Church.
We are talking about why it would be sinful for Peter to eat with Gentiles Numbers says nothing about not eating with Gentiles.......could be a tradition but not in the lawNumbers 23
4Now God met Balaam, and he said to Him, “I have set up the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on each altar.” 5Then the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth and said, “Return to Balak, and you shall speak thus.” 6So he returned to him, and behold, he was standing beside his burnt offering, he and all the leaders of Moab.
7He took up his discourse and said,
“From Aram Balak has brought me,
Moab’s king from the mountains of the East,
‘Come curse Jacob for me,
And come, denounce Israel!’
8“How shall I curse whom God has not cursed?
And how can I denounce whom the LORD has not denounced?
9“As I see him from the top of the rocks,
And I look at him from the hills;
Behold, a people who dwells apart,
And will not be reckoned among the nations.
10“Who can count the dust of Jacob,
Or number the fourth part of Israel?
Let me die the death of the upright,
And let my end be like his!”
11Then Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, but behold, you have actually blessed them!” 12He replied, “Must I not be careful to speak what the LORD puts in my mouth?”
All these verses were for IsraelJhn 14:16-17
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Jhn 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Jhn 16:13-14
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[Heb 8:7 KJV] 7 For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. He puts away THE FIRST
that HE may establish THE SECOND .
This was not the body church this was the church of the believing remnant of Israel which Paul persecutedThe first people added to Christ's body/church is the jews,
BEFORE Paul was saved.
Acts 2:47,
- praising God and having favour with all the people and the Lord added to the church daily such as were being saved
[Phl 1:27 KJV] 27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;@Doug Another user observed...
Ephesians 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.
There is only one faith, not two--which explains how Paul could correct Peter, who was not walking in step with "the truth of the Gospel", and brought him back in line with that one faith. They were both subject to the one Gospel, the one faith.
As i often say MANY SURE DARN HAVE done all to try and turn JESUS into the minstir of sin .[Heb 8:7 KJV] 7 For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
He will establish a new covenant
[Heb 8:10 KJV] 10 For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
He did not do away with the law
Yeah, God is doing something today, and that thing is that God is saving a small portion (in those days, it was 7000) of Israel. Paul is part of that small portion.[Rom 11:5 KJV] 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
In saying this present time he was talking about at the time he was writing Romans
Paul says "when we WERE in the flesh" (Ro 7:5). Why does he say, of himself and his audience, "WERE in the flesh" if what he meant was "now we're not in bodies anymore"? Why does he say, of believers, "you are not in the flesh but in the spirit" (Ro 8:9)?You said..................So, would you deny that the ones who you say are "in Christ", but not "Christ's body", share in Christ's death and resurrection?
But they are in the body in Romans 7
