So you may remember that Jesus said "I will give you power to trample over the enemy" (Gospels, from memory), but you may not have linked that "trampling" with The Cross. The Cross is able to crush, every spiritual power any where in the Earth. The faith required to do this, happens in the quickness of the Holy Spirit's angels. All you need to do, is lay it down (to be crushed) and not be tempted to pick it up again. Peoples can be crushed, dictator's rule can be crushed, the spread of disease can be crushed - all these things can be crushed. The power is in Jesus' Word: He doesn't not repeat in vain, the root causes of the things which He crushes under His Cross.
Sometimes things work against us, because there are a number of factors involved and nothing we do in our strength, can crush them altogether. But in Christ's righteousness, the entire system that works against us, can be crushed. Jesus can save us, from Skynet! But I digress, what I am trying to say is that we should not be overwhelmed. The time has come not simply to confess the Cross, but to surrender everything in the world that works against us, under its power!
