I dont learn from commontaries.
Insted I learn from the word of God itself.

Apparently you haven't learned to spell either.

"No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent."
John Donne

There was a time when men discipled themselves to a master of higher learning.
In this way they discovered for themselves the true path of study.

If you refuse to take wisdom from other men, you will forever risk the consequences of error.

He who refuses good teaching is like the fool who only wishes to hear himself talk.
(It's in the Bible - some little book called Proverbs)

At the current film festival in Cannes, France several prominent movie celebrities made public statements.

Peter Fonda stated that Obama was a traitor.

Brad Pitt said this about God;

"I grew up being told God is going to take care of everything and it doesn't always work out that way. And then you're told 'Well, it's God's will.'"

Apparently Mr. Pitt is not the only movie star to express his disdain for Christianity.
He blames the church or God for what??? His miserable life? ?????

What's behind this dissing of Christianity lately?

Go back and read the scripture:
let no man beguile you in any wise: for it will not be, except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
2Th 2:3

Apostacy first, AC second. See?

I don't think... I'm the one who needs to read it again...

II Th 2:3
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(KJV)

Do you really think the deceived are going to know who that false one is? The time of the 'revealing' Paul speaks of there is in connection with the following timing...

II Th 2:8
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:
(KJV)

The only ones that will know the true identity of that false one is Christ's elect, which is HOW they are kept from that hour of temptation. And I'd say for those today who don't now know who that false one will be, already are in danger. For the deceived, the identity of that false one will not be revealed to them until Christ's coming. The subject is uttermost about his 'identity' being revealed, not just his arrival on the world stage. The majority of the world is not going grasp that false one as the AC.

Paul is speaking about the IDENTITY of that false one being revealed to the deceived, at what time? At the time of Christ's coming to destroy him.

Obviously then, that false one must have done his works of deceptions by the time Christ comes. So when must the falling away period especially be pointing to? The time of the height of the deception by that false one, which is about those works he does to deceive with.

Didn't anyone get what Paul was saying in 2 Thess.2:10-12 about the deceived believing "a lie", pointing to that as "strong delusion"?

Didn't anyone grasp the Matt.24:24 and Rev.13:11-13 link with what that false one does, with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders?

Nature abhors a vacuum, especially spiritual nature. No man can sit on the fence. We have to choose and to not choose God IS a choice. Into the Godless vacuum of paganism and passive indifference toward God will march the anti-Christ.

Yet, the majority of the world, including the five foolish virgins (remember, they are Christians), are NOT going to realize the identity of that false one. That is especially about the five foolish virgins falling away from Christ by bowing in false worship to that false one, which is also what Rev.13:11 forward is about, accepting the mark and the image of the beast. I tell you, that false one is going to come in the role of Saviour, with deceptive works so powerful, if it were possible, it would deceive even Christ's elect.

If being forced to accept the Muslim messiah (al-Mahdi/12th Imam), especially by force of arms (execution by beheading) or financial extortion (cannot trade without the mark on one's hand or forehead) isn't a delusion, pray tell me what is.

OK, I'll tell what the real delusion is, for the deceived of God's people. It's of bowing to that false one in thinking he is our Lord. Maybe this is a new idea for many here. But it really shouldn't be. Afterall, even Paul warned about the "another Jesus". The five foolish virgins are not going to bow to that false one out of fear, but by being deceived into thinking he is our Lord. That false one is not coming to kill and murder, he's coming to play everybody's Messiah, to bring in world peace and prosperity (per Dan.11).

In other words, that false messiah will not be a representative of or for just one religion, like Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, nor Christianity, but over all of them. Those not sealed with God's sealing will claim he is GOD, Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, Mahdi, whatever. ALL religions will accept him as The LORD. This is what the Ecumnemical inter-faith religious movement is about, a joining of all religions together, admitting that he is the same saviour for all of them (which is what the secret societies have been teaching for a long time now).

The following is a working theory, per your initial statement of the false messiah sitting in the temple of God.
1. Assuming for the sake of argument that al-Mahdi or some other Muslim potentate is a figure of political importance and possibly the AC (because he claims to be sent by Allah)......
2. Assuming that the 3rd Temple IS ALREADY BUILT (Jews insist that the nation of Israel IS THE THIRD TEMPLE.... why not, it's their country & religion isn't it?)
...it follows that...
3. Entrance into the third temple by al-Mahdi to speak before the Knesset (Israeli parlament) proposing a peace treaty is all that would be necessary to fulfill the prophecy (since the parliament is the heart of modern Israel and since a massive war/invasion WOULD BE an abomination of desolation).

Problems with that: the orthodox Jews plan to build a REAL temple in Jerusalem today, already have the materials ready, even cut cornerstones. Obviously then, that shows they don't see themselves as the third temple (actually 4th, if you count Herod's mods on the 2nd temple). Next, Mahdi is only a name from Islamic belief. His name people assign him today is unimportant, what he is given power to do with miracles and such is important, and is what defines his identity, though it be a fake identity. Politicians over Israel will be just as guilty in setting that false messiah up as any other deceived person of another religion will be.

Would not the world welcome PEACE & SAFETY after all the terrorism and war we've witnessed already? And what do you think al-Mahdi is hiding beneath his official robes when he signs the promisory agreement? Certainly something more than crossed fingers.

That's an important consideration, it actually goes to another level which I'm not sure you realize yet. Think contrast created to prepare the world for this false messiah; create strife, bring peace. This cat ain't going to be some simple-minded politician or national leader. The context is about a fake Christ, a whole different picture, a much bigger picture. Need a much broader brush my friend.

In addition, the al-Mahdi prophecy states that Jesus will return and persuade all 'real Christians' that Islam is the true religion. Is this a Muslim prophecy of the apostacy of the church? If it smells like dung, the only question is who dumped it.

That's only what some among Islam are saying now. It'll be more important to watch out for what our deceived Christian leaders will say about the false messiah when he appears. The al-Mahdi label is not the real Bible prophecy about it, really meaningless to us Christians. You do understand the difference of label's like 'Messiah' and al'Mahdi, right?

Back to Daniels' geat idol prophecy. The feet of iron and clay are interpreted to mean the last global kingdom of man. That kingdom is destroyed by a mountain which is the Kingdom of God.

The mixture of iron and clay suggests some sort of confederacy or loose coalition of sovereign states. As of this writing the United Nations IS such a 'kingdom'. Composed of a loose alliance of sovereign states of EVERY nation on earth and partially fielding a poor excuse of a military, it pretty well qualifies as a fulfillment of scripture.

It would benefit the reader to examine the list of Biblical prophecies of the second coming and compare them to Muslim (shiite) predictions of the state of the world prior to and during the reign of al-Mahdi. They are eerie to say the least.

I suggest Joel Richardson's book The Islamic Anti-Christ.

The real danger will be our Christian leaders telling us the false one Paul mentioned is our Lord Jesus Christ Messiah, Jewish rabbi telling their congregations he's the Messiah, Islamic clerics telling their congregations he's their Messiah, etc., etc.

Apparently God is not your teacher.
Not that you could understand this verse but it is for others who are taught by God.
1 John 2;27
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
