That is still mostly what has been taught by men--not that one cannot make a case for it with the scriptures, but it just isn't so.

It is the "successive" part that Paul spoke of that is true of all. Just as all are born in their "own order", so too all die in their own order. And now that we have the Holy Spirit (which gives [eternal] life) since Pentecost, all that are "born again of the spirit of God" also come "but each one in his own order." All of which is one event--but only in heaven where "yesterday, today, and forever" are the same. "But each one in his own order" is in the world of created time which is passing away.

As for Jesus' return, as He said, "the world sees me no more", meaning (as it actually says) He comes "in clouds" meaning not in the world but in heaven. Therefore, "every eye shall see Him" indeed, but only in heaven.

As for bodily resurrection, only Jesus rose bodily, and all who are His rose with Him--as we are His body. As for those seen coming out of the grave after the cross, that was just an enactment of a few to show that the dead rose with Him also--which Paul clarified, saying "by no means do we precede those who are sleep."

Scott, though you present the conclusions of your thoughts very well, as I have done also, I perceive that much of what we are focusing on here is speculation.

Even though we both know that our resurrection is a two stage* process, in no uncertain terms, Jesus died in his mortal flesh, and then Resurrected into a physical new life of immortality, having eternal life and the ability to be either Spirit or physical immortal flesh at will.

Upon His Glorious return from Heaven, to those of us who are of faith in Him, having already been made to be a participant in His resurrection**, we shall be granted the same ability as Him, in our own bodily resurrection.

We all, who are now participants in "stage 1", are waiting for "stage 2" to take place on the Day of His return from heaven.

Yes indeed, Bible prophecy is coming to pass. However, I sure do hope that no one is looking for the fabrication that Church-ianity promotes, being that of a singular man, that they all love to call "THE" Antichrist. In the Textus Receptus Greek text of the KJV, those scriptures that describe the spirit of antichrist, is meant to be understood in the PLURAL, as in MANY. 2 Thes. 2:1-12.

Scorpions and Locusts- KJV Rev. 9:1-11
In the book of Revelation, much of what is written is symbolic and coded, yet on the other hand, John saw things that were not of his world, nor could he even imagine them.
Although the Greek text is helpful for understanding, even that of itself is unable to render the reality of a futurisic item or process, that has never been. Therefore, some of the visuals that John did receive, can only be revealed by their physical manifestation in the world. Therefore, John could only give a likeness to what he could relate it to in his day.
Having said that, I as a born again Christian, do not care for the typical "religious spin" for interpretation. Through faith in Jesus, we all live in a real world, with the Real God.

As to what John actually saw in the visions, we have the freedom to compare and speculate, now that 2000+/- years have past, living in a world of "increased knowledge", which also can be beyond many of us for understanding, even though we SEE IT day in and day out.

My intention is to take a portion of the book of Revelation, and attempt to get a glimpse of what it might be, that could be very common to us in our day.

Four angels bound in the River Euphrates- Rev. 9:13-19.
Once again, I am only speculating.

Here we are again, looking at symbolisim, code words, and earthly manifestations, albeit for reasons of a different situation, whereby John's vision from Jesus, reveals an event to come, which is not anything that John himself has ever known of among the living: one third of men are killed off in one day by war.

Of course, John couldn't know of what it is that would cause such devastation and quick death to so many people at one time, but we do. Today, we know all about "limited Nuclear war".

So then, who are the characters that are involved? Well, first off, we are told that they are "angels", of which is a code word, that can be revealing four literal fallen angels of Satan, or it can be coded for something else, such as four countries that are revengeful in nature towards their neighbor(s).

Rule#1- angels are created spirit beings, and therefore cannot do anything in this physical world, unless they seek to possess physical bodies of flesh and blood.

Rule #2- if then these so called literal four angels are NOT literal flesh and blood, then we must accept the fact that the wickedness that is prophesied to take place, in the area of the Euphrates River, is not orchestrated by mere men alone, but rather by "spiritual wickedness", that imposes it's will upon and through the flesh and blood of men.

[12] For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Therefore, that which will become a visible and tangible manifestation "to slay the third part of men.", shall be caused by the spiritual wickedness of satan, through and among the men of four countries, aka the Mid-east.
One might think and say, that war has always been a steady diet for centuries in the Mid-east, however, when one reads the following prophetic words, they will come to realize that it describes a specific DATE in time:
[15] And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay [kill] the third part of men.

Four Countries?? Yes. They are Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
The river Euphrates begins in 1. Turkey, and runs past their boundary into 2. Syria, then crossing the boundary of 3. Iraq, and finally touches a small part of the boundary of 4. Iran, as it runs out into the Persian Gulf
All of the above four countries are also bound in the religion of Islam.

You can find a map online, that will show how the Euphrates river flows in and near the four countries I mentioned.

Klaus Schwab and Co-author Thierry Malleret wrote and published the book "Covid-19: The Great Reset" in 2020 (please notice the colon in the title).

In just INSIDE OF 6 months, from when Covid-19 was declared to be a pandemic in Jan. 2020 by the WHO, a plan of how to reset the world was hatched, and activated IN THE SAME YEAR.
In their book, Klaus Schwab said in the first week of July 2020: "we are at the cross roads".
Therefore, according to the timing, the master plan of how to "Reset" the world, only took 5 months to put it together?? And within those five months, a book was then written on how to DO IT??
That is amazingly genius!!

Or could it be that the plan has been building since many YEARS ago, and now the authors decided to write about it, and set it in motion? I'm sure we can see that the latter is most likely the case.

Now, to "RESET" the world, is not like pressing an electronic device's "Reset Button", and voila everything of the original equipment is working again. When Klaus says "Reset", he is meaning "changing" the world, and how the world shall do things differently.
"Different" means not the same!!
To change the world to do things "differently", means that there is and has been a plan, that was put together through many years OF PLANNING, being that of a Master Plan of how to "change" the world!!

11For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie,
12in order that judgment may come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.

It is God who decides where, when and upon whom His Grace is removed = satan is just the tool of judgment upon those who refuse.

Of course it will be God's decision only, of when he shall end His present Age of Grace. When the "MoB" is mandated upon all the world, through digitized money, that WILL BE the act that causes division, the separation of the sheep from the goats.
At that time, there will be no more who will repent towards God. All will have made their decision of either faith in God through Jesus for their needs, or faith in the human systems of man for all their needs.

Actually, no your discussion is not relative to the thread topic. The topic that you are steering from is about the resurrection of the saints. The thread topic is about KJV Rev. 9:1-11, and then progresses onward to the end of that chapter.

Now, since you are implying that you are of the "some" that do not speculate about KJV Rev. 9:1-11, then the only alternative is, that you do know the truth about the symbolic "locust-scorpions" in KJV Rev. 9.
If you will, I and probably many others would like to hear it.

You can find a map online, that will show how the Euphrates river flows in and near the four countries I mentioned.

22 dams and 19 hydroelectric power plants on both the Tigris and the Euphrates Rivers.

Turkey is also a well known hotbed of frequent Earthquakes.

Damming can dry the Rivers with a flip of the Switch...

Actually, no your discussion is not relative to the thread topic. The topic that you are steering from is about the resurrection of the saints. The thread topic is about KJV Rev. 9:1-11, and then progresses onward to the end of that chapter.

Now, since you are implying that you are of the "some" that do not speculate about KJV Rev. 9:1-11, then the only alternative is, that you do know the truth about the symbolic "locust-scorpions" in KJV Rev. 9.
