That reminds me...

When I was maybe five years old, we apparently had a mouse problem. Never saw any but I guess my parents knew there was one. So they set a mouse trap and caught it.

I came across it where my parents had laid it out on some newspaper, to wrap up for the trash. I can remember bending down and petting the dead mouse.... saying "poor mouse." My mom came back into the kitchen asking me what I was doing!

Always was an animal lover I guess.

I use catch and release traps. Of course, I have a cat now so I think the local varmints got wind of that.
