I'm not an intellectual....so most of those discussions go over my head....the ' "argument discussions" become very much the same repeated posts over and over...

Psalm 19
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork*.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

People observe the sky as deep as they can, with their equipment and tell us wonderful stories of those things which are not miles, but are several light years away from us. Also comes some amount of terminology or associated jargon like universe,multiverse,galaxies, black-hole etc. and man can never reach those distances to verify if they are exactly what they look like from earth. :) Plenty of time, money and effort is invested to study them, perhaps we could derive some benefit to make our human life better on earth. The common man on earth continues to struggle for their survival, keeping faith in God with whatever limited knowledge they have that Christ is the bread of life.

During the time when Psalm 19 was written by the inspiration of God, perhaps the people did not know much about the celestial objects as we know them now. When I was young, we used to sleep on the roof during summer. I used to sometimes look straight into the sky. One has to move their eyes and head to and fro, all directions, to look at the entire sky. We as humans cannot look at the entire sky with our eyes at once. Sometimes when I used to gaze into the sky, after a few seconds, I used to feel uncomfortable or some kind of fear that I might lose myself into a trance. So I used to quickly stop looking at the sky and go to sleep. Perhaps people in the olden days used to wonder at God's creation in a similar manner. When I think about them again I remember,

Psalm 8
3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

Yes, some use high tech equipment to literally look and understand as far as they can. On the contrary, there are people , there continue to be many people down on the earth who are struggling to find hope and God tells us that they are our neighbours. I see many madly rushing every morning and stressed out at the end of each day and spend weekends watching movies or drinking to unwind and start rushing the coming week. Who has time to think of the celestial wonders of God's creation and understand his Glory?

Psalm 90
9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

So I think we need to pray,
Psalm 90
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

I do not contradict other's opinion. I just want to share what I learnt from my experience in life to give all Glory to God.

When I was young we also slept on the roof. It was to get away from the Texas heat of the house that developed during the day. My cousin one night rolled off the edge. It wasn't a long drop.

Those are interesting verses, those of (Ps. 19). I have considered them quite often.

I was able to recollect
Genesis 9
16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.
17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.

I was also thinking if there were any to keep in mind in our every day lives. So I thought of two passages. One in Matthews and the other in Proverbs.

Matthew 24
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately*, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Proverbs 6
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
Proverbs 30
25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;

The example from Proverbs , of course has to do with seasons but it is a kind of a warning so I thought it might be similar to a sign.

(Matt. 2:1-12) "...came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him."

These wise men were 'magi' or astronomers. They had to have been observing the starry heavens and recognizing some signs in their formation.

I think they were inspired by God as they could find Jesus despite of difficulty and also return safely with the guidance of an Angel. And finally we know that God only wise (Jude 12:25, Romans 16:27). Anyway, these are my thoughts. :)

And they are good thoughts. I would say that the wise men were not 'astrologers', but 'astronomers'. Astrology, which is the looking to the stars to determine ones future is condemned by God. But 'astronomy' is the study of the heavenly bodies. And is not condemned by God.

Planetary sounds are cool. I like Jupiter's the best. These are electromagnetic waves, such as radio waves, coming from the planet and converted to audible sound waves. Sometimes they are scaled as well to be in our hearing range. If they converted it to light instead, then low pitch would be red light and high pitch blue or violet and loudness would correspond to brightness.

Some very good studies have been done, showing in the Scriptures, that God created those star groups we know as the Zodiac. They are not there for any kind of fortune telling, as I already said, but they depict the Gospel story beginning with Virgo the virgin birth and culminating in Leo the Lion the King of Kings. Joseph Seiss has written an excellent book on it called, "The Gospel in the Stars".

Consider (Job 38:31-33). "Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven? canst thou set the dominion thereof in the earth?"

Pleiades, Orion, and Arcturus are constellations and Mazzaroth is the Zodiac.

In reading (Ps. 19:1-6) it is impossible to not see the connection between the movement of the sun through the zodiac and the movement of The Son in His earthly travels in the work of salvation.

How does the zodiac work? The sun is the key. It moves eastward passing through the 12 constellations we call the zodiac in a one year travel. It's path is called the 'ecliptic'.

I know, I know, the sun doesn't move, it is the earth that moves. But that is immaterial. Because we here on earth see the sun moving. That is our view of vision. And God knows that. God always meets us where we are at. And even today we call it sunrise and sunset.

So, In (Ps. 19:1-3) the heavens declare through speech and voice a knowledge to be learned.

(Ps.19:4) That line this message travels is comparable to the ecliptic of the zodiac.

(Ps. 19:4) The zodiac is likened to a tabernacle for the sun. It is a building that the sun moves through in stages just like the priests moved in stages through the tabernacle. Which pictured also the movements of The Son through the various stages of His work of salvation.

(Ps. 19:5) The sun is likened to a bridegroom eager to run His race. Thus our Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, The Son, did the same.

(Ps. 19:6) The eternalilty of the Bridgroom is spoken of. Form one end of the heaven to the other.

The zodiac is an ancient revelation from God to man before He began His written revelation. It is the salvation message at it's most basic level. And of course we now have the superior written revelation from God which adds so much to this ancient one. But, it doesn't take anything away from that message.

One benefit of knowing this ancient gospel is that it explains how so many aspects of Christianity are found in older pagan religions. It is because they have perverted that gospel message in the stars. They had the truth and changed it.

Yes Indeed, did not the Wise men watch the Heavens for particular signs to establish the Birth of our Savior? God named the stars, and at the tower of Babble, when the languages were confused the names did not change but the way they were pronounced did!! different language different sound! Bethusda- Hebrew= Virgin / Virgo- Latin= Virgin / Virgin- English= Virgin, the same with all other stars that are named!
I believe that all that God did and will do is in His handy work, the Heavens!
