The Counstitution or the Bible? Or is this a false dichtomy? Is the Constitution simply a commentary on the Bible?

Does 'one nation under God' mean that the constitution is subject to the Bible? Are nonbeliever subject to the Bible through submission to the constitution?

You mean the U.S. Constitution? If so, it is not a commentary on the Bible, nor does it follow the Bible directly. I hold the Constitution in high regards, thinking it is perhaps second only to the Bible. However, no where in the Constitution or the Ammendments are there references to God, Jesus or the Bible (there is one exception: it says "in the year of our lord 1787).

Non believers are not subject to the Bible by the constitution, but they are protected under the 1st ammendment.

The consitution is according to a kingdom of this world... While the Bible testifies of a kingdom that isn't... They speak of quite different things, I would say!

We are to live by a heavenly code, and draw from a heavenly life. We are subjects to the law that all righteousness might be fulfilled. We pay taxes, we do our duty... But we are secretly advancing another kingdom! ;)

The constitution of the US was formed and written by patriots of whom many were devout Christians. William Bennett has written some good books on this topic. One of my favorites is "Our Sacred Honor" which is a compilation of letters from the founding fathers.
