Commenting on Love Matt, many people do not see Jehovah as loving, and admittedly I understand why. But I agree with the Bible, among His main attributes, Wisdom, Power, Justice, Love is the only one in which the Bible says He is. 1 Jn 4:8. Therefore we can discern that Love is His dominant quality.

@MatthewG Great verses there in Lamentations! It's a neglected book of the Bible, although those verses there seem to be more well known...

Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in חֶסֶד and truth; who keeps חֶסֶד for thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin... (Exodus 34:6-7a)

He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justice, to love חֶסֶד,
And to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

For I desire חֶסֶד, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. (Hosea 6:6)

Devin, is it great to know that God pours love into us by his spirit! To have peace, mercy, love, compassion, mercy!
