Okay but my question still stands, so I will ask you?

Wouldn't taking a microchip and not being able to repent of that contradict John 3:16?

I'm just trying to get people to think rationally
Revelation 14:9-11
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead or in his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

Yes I'm well aware of what the bible says about the mark, I'm not disputing that, but my point is what exactly is the mark?

Is it a literal mark or symbolic for a condition?

If it's a literal mark, then that contradicts the scripture below.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

A literal, physical mark does not contradict John 3:16. If you believe in Christ, you will not get the mark of the beast.

Many 'Christians' are not ready so they just don't want to believe it! It's dead ahead, ready or not!

Okay that's not addressing the question and a diversion by satan to the real mark.

Satan is tricking people from the promise of John 3:16, the promise that Jesus can cover the sins of anyone who repents. Its about what Jesus did not us.

This shows as Jesus said is that the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, rejection and purposely misinterpreting the true power that comes from the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 12
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

So you will see that a literal mark contradicts John 3:16

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

See post #27

If Paul could be forgiven from hunting down, killing and persecuting the church how could someone not be forgiven from taking a literal mark?

The character of God is that He cares about the heart, the only unforgivable sin is constant rejection of the Holy Spirit and His power

One way to find out for sure. Take the Mark.

Do you realize that you are just making unneeded remarks and rejecting the message of the bible?

Put your view aside and see what the bible says and search for truth even if means having a different view.

The Greek word for mark (charagma) means a stamp, imprinted mark, or brand so it does seem to be a literal, visible, physical mark.

So, it is a physical mark to identify those who can buy and sell. It’s not spiritual. It must be physically seen. Take Scripture at face value.

Technology has now provided chip implants to enable financial transactions. There is no reason to think the mark is an attitude or mental allegiance.

16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,

17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. (Revelation 13:16-17, NASB)

And a chip implant can contain TONS of personal info! Financial, medical, unlock doors ... They've been practicing on animals for years! Thereby programming humans to accept the technology. Other countries are chipping government staffs! For years even. They even tried in the US but it got blocked, temporarily! They'll try again!

'We're from the government. We want to help you.' LOL

All of those things aren't sins, the reason to think the mark is not an attitude or mental allegiance are the two verses below

Matthew 12
32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

John 3
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Does John 3:16 contradict a literal mark yes or no?

Was Jesus wrong or did Jesus lie?

Yet you can't even answer a direct question and see your mistake.

This is a debating site and I'm trying to have a mature debate with you, you should be on a statement site not this site. We are supposed to debate on this site and look for truth

Is it a literal mark or symbolic for a condition?

If it's a literal mark, then that contradicts the scripture below.

John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

The fact that it mentions two very specific locations, the right hand or forehead, would suggest to me it's literal, especially since not everyone has a right hand, but everyone alive has a forehead. What if by taking the mark they become so spiritually corrupted that they become incapable of repenting? Romans 1:28 would seem to imply that "and because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a corrupt mind so that they do what is not right." At a certain point, blasphemy's threshold is crossed, and there's no going back.
