What tortoise does he ride to his second coming?

[Rev 3:11 KJV] 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
[Rev 22:7, 12, 20 KJV] 7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed [is] he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book. ... 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward [is] with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. ... 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

I received an email today from a group called Messianic Bible (biblesforisrael.com). They wanted to give me a ministry update. (I’m not connected in any way with this group but they are preparing a new Bible translation and I’ve signed up to receive of copy of the translation when it is finished - which I think is scheduled to happen sometime in 2025.)

From the update:

”Our ministry staff also educates Rabbis about the Messianic prophecies because they are taught very little about them.

We spoke to two Orthodox Rabbis, who said they were ONLY familiar with three of the Messianic prophecies. They were NOT aware that there are more than 30 specific prophecies in the Tanakh (Old Testament).

So, when we started going through the prophesies with the two rabbis, one said:

‘Yes, I guess it is possible that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah.’

We were very surprised when this Rabbi uttered that Yeshua could be Messiah ben Yosef in the prophecy of Zechariah 12!

‘Our eyes opened wide because we personally have never heard any Rabbi tell us that Yeshua (Jesus) could be the Messiah.

Both of these Israeli Orthodox Rabbis said: ‘For sure we are living in the last generation, before the Messiah comes. We are in The end of days!’”

The email ends with them asking me to donate money to the ministry. (I haven’t and won’t.)

The bold in the email is theirs, not mine.

So, our story goes, two Orthodox Jewish Rabbis are open to the possibility of Jesus being the promised Messiah. They remain unbelieving Jewish monotheists, but they’re leaning (if the story in the email is true, and I have no reason to believe that it isn’t) toward believing.

What happens if / when one or both of them decide that Jesus - himself a Jewish monotheist, as they are - is in fact the Messiah? Will the trinitarians ministering to them end at that point? Highly unlikely. There is more work required to move the Rabbis from Jewish monotheism to trinitarianism.

How will the Rabbis respond when they finally hear the rest of what that ministry teaches?

I see three possibilities:

1. They will continue to be Jewish monotheists who believe Jesus is the promised Messiah.
2. They will continue to be Jewish monotheists but no longer believing Jesus is the promised Messiah.
3. They will cease being Jewish monotheists and become trinitarians.

Why the need to put people into categories? The next step after that is determining which category is right (according to ones own paradigm).....and so it continues to go.
Why not see ALL people as hurting, crying and bleeding children caught in a web of dysfunction and deceit.

God does it with mankind. The Messiah tells us which category is right and the only way to God.

God and the Messiah aren’t the problem. Who is? The devil, the demons, and the people you describe below.

All categories should. Most categories do.

When one is untouched by peoples struggles, irrespective of who they are, gender, ethnicity, culture, religion or one is selective based on narrow paradigms, one has denied Jesus. It is how we relate to others which is the determining factor of how we relate to God/ Jesus. A head trip doesn't qualify for a relationship.
'what you have done to the least, you have done it to me'....Jesus

The only narrow paradigm that will be left standing at the end of the age will be the Messiah’s.

I receive daily emails, sometimes more than one email, from this ministry. Today I received two. This afternoons email informed me:

”Finally, in 2025, you will be receiving a Messianic Prophecy Bible. … This New Messianic Bible and Commentary will revolutionize how both Jews and Christians understand the Bible.”

The rest of the “Bible Progress Update“ asks me to donate money to the ministry. (If I partner with the Holy Spirit before midnight, I’m promised I’ll receive a double blessing from Jesus.)

No specific date in 2025 is provided.

I’ve never met or spoken with Dennis Prager. He had a serious accident recently and isn’t speaking with anyone publicly at the moment, and might not ever.

I’d like to speak with him sometime. I would be able to speak with in a way that the vast majority of Christian’s couldn’t and wouldn’t.

Dennis puts his finger on the sore spot. The point of contention is not so much whether or not JC was the messiah, but the fact that he is declared divine, and he is worshiped. Because that is idolatry.

Being wrong about the identity of the messiah is no big deal, I don't think you get whiplashes for it, but being wrong about who is God, that is a VERY big deal, that is the essence of our religions.
Worshiping the wrong God is idolatry, and that carries upon it the death penalty.

On the previous page somebody writes:

Jesus shouldn't be worshiped? confused

Are you aware you identify as Christian?

Christians worship Jesus Christ.

Christians worship JC, Jews worship the one and only true God Y-H-W-H.

When God starts giving the law on Mount Sinai, He begins with the ten commandments. The ten commandments begin with:
And God spoke all these words, saying: “I am Y-H-W-H your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME."
Exodus 20:1-2

And what does Christianity do? They introduce a new man-god, that nobody ever heard of before. And that is the God which Christianity worships.

And Judaism worships only Y-H-W-H, and nobody else. Because that is what the Hebrew Bible teaches.

And that is the whole big difference between Judaism and Christianity. We are worshiping a different God.

Look here who God is: Who is God?

for many anti christs now abound .
WHO is a liar , but he who denies JESUS is the CHRIST , he is anti christ .
The messiah you seek to come , WRONG ONE . and by peace shall it destroy many .

WHEN GOD spoke ABRAHAM BELIEVED YHWH
GOD TESTIFIED ON HIS SON CHRIST JESUS
and yet many jews and many gentiles BELIEVE NOT HIS TESTIMONY .
Now he who beleives NOT the testimony that YHWH gave of the SON
is calling YHWH a LIAR . watch out , for you call YHWH a liar IF YOU BELIEVE NOT HIS TESTIMONY
concerning JESUS THE MESSIAH , CHRIST , SON OF GOD . watch out for that be the work of an anti ch rist .
Course our sold out churches will probably tell ya
THAT ALL RELIGOINS , MUSLIM , HIN DU , CHRISLAM , new age , whatever ALL WORSHIP the same GOD .
BUT A LIE THAT IS MY FRIEND . A LIE .
