Throwing in two cents here. Your salvation isn't at risk. I don't know if that is what she was intending to say... but if it was, there is really no base or power in that claim. Don't sweat it. We are saved by Christ's work and faith in Him for it, period.
I want to add two more sense. It seems that are some here that are convinced that there is no such thing as a pretrib rapture. Now, imagine that Jesus is coming for the church before the 70th week, just as Paul wrote, and He is coming for those "looking" for His coming. These are looking for the beast instead! Chances are great then, that they will get their wish, and will go through the 70th week - meaning that they will be "left behind" because they were not looking for Him. Therefore, it is possible that this IS a salvation issue. Will Christians that are left behind, be strong enough to die, rather than take the mark?Coop
