Do you think that your temple rituals will then replace the Lord's Supper?
You quoted that the Lord's Supper will be celebrated only until the Lord comes. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ will officially take place at the moment of closing the eastern gate of the Temple, on Yom Kippur. On the same day, according to the prophecy of Ezekiel, the dedication of the altar will be completed. And from the next day, from 11 Tishrei, the offering of daily morning sacrifices and all other sacrifices that must be made according to the law will begin.

You avoided the question.

Of course, it replaces. What was before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ loses its power, because the Lord will come and the elect will be with Him at the wedding feast in the Third Temple.

And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord God; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord God, a young bullock for a sin offering.
And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
And thou shalt offer them before the Lord, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the Lord.
Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.
Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.

(Ezekiel 43:18-27)

Here is the order of the consecration of the altar of Ezekiel's Temple:

1st day of the 7th month of Tishrei, Yom Teruahsacrificing a young bullock outside the Sanctuary
2nd day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a kid of the goats outside the Sanctuary
3rd day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary
4th day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a goat, a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary
5th day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a goat, a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary
6th day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a goat, a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary
7th day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a goat, a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary
8th day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a goat, a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary
9th day of the 7th month of Tishreisacrifice of a goat, a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary
10th day of the 7th month of Tishrei, Yom Kippursacrifice of a goat, a young bullock and a ram outside the Sanctuary

After the completion of the consecration of the altar, which will parallel the entrance of the saints into the eastern gate of the Temple, the participating Israelites receive an important promise from the Lord:

And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord God.
(Ezekiel 43:27)

At this moment the eastern gate of the Temple closes, and the "twinkling of an eye" occurs, about which it is written:

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Corinthians 15:52)

This same moment is written about in Revelation:

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. (Revelation 11:15)

The description of the consecration of the altar ends the 43rd chapter of Ezekiel, and the beginning of the next chapter is written:

Then he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward sanctuary which looketh toward the east; and it was shut.
Then said the Lord unto me; This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter in by it; because the Lord, the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

(Ezekiel 44:1,2)

The closing of the eastern gate of Ezekiel's Temple is the moment of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The Lord's Supper is NT Scripture's final word regarding the observation of the ordinance of His Sacrifice by His Church.

There is no subsequent word.

It is not replaced.

Do you belong to the religion of eternal expectation of Jesus Christ, who will never come? He will come after all.

When the testator is dead, the testament is valid, but when He returns alive, the testament will no longer exist. The covenant of God with the nations will be broken by him:

And I took my staff Favor and cut it in pieces, to break my covenant which I had made with all the peoples.
So it was broken on that day, and so the afflicted of the flock who were watching me realized that it was the word of the Lord.

You are mistaken. He did not come into this world, but went to the Father from this world. And the Church has been waiting for Him since then and preparing for His Second Coming.

If your religion believes that the Second Coming of Christ has already happened, then this is not Christianity. The entire New Testament teaches about the coming return of Jesus Christ in glory.

This is where I end my conversation with you.

Complete nonsense.

He could not "went to the Father from this world" without first coming into this world.

Thank God for His Chosen People, His elect beloved faithful obedient remnant of both Gentiles and Jews in whom He has preserved His Truth through the ages, culminating with His New Testament Church that He has been building since His First Coming.

You should learn about it some time. :laughing:

Yes AMEN!! All born again Christians, both Jew and Gentile, are the 3rd Temple in which God the Father and God the Son NOW dwell, through that which is "another Comforter", the Gift of the Holy Spirit.
Mark.14
[58] We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another [Temple] made without hands. Please see John 2:19-22
Acts.7
[48] Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Acts.17
[24] God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
2Cor.5
[1] For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
Heb.9
[11] But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
[24] For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
1Cor.3
[16] Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
2Cor.6
[16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for YE ARE the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

You misunderstand that EVERY unsaved person is A POTENTIAL "house" of God's dwelling place, but ONLY AFTER their repentance towards God through faith in Jesus.
So then, if The Holy Spirit of God IS NOT DWELLING within a potential house for God, then guess whose spirit shall take up residence, until then!!

Therefore, if a person is NOT born again of
God's Holy Spirit, of whom would take up permanent residence of dwelling within them, then all they who remain in such a fallen condition, are "none of His" Rom.8:9.

That is just PURE SPECULATION AGAINST THE WRITTEN SCRIPTURE, trying to squeeze in the false doctrine of men that Paul's "temple of God" is not about the traditional stone temple in Jerusalem! You need to scrap your attempt to hold on to that false doctrine, and those men you heed that teach it to you, and study Ephesians 2 again about the foundation of the Temple of The Spirit.

This matter is actually VERY EASY to figure out. It is CRAZY to think that ANY believer who falls away from Christ is still part of the Temple of The Spirit with Christ Jesus as its CORNERSTONE. That one who falls away is simply CUT OFF. It is because the TEMPLE OF THE SPIRIT CANNOT BE CORRUPTED BY ANYONE NOR ANYTHING.

Do you believe in the Third Coming of Jesus Christ? There will be no Third Coming, only the Second:
IRRELEVANT question, since God's written Word only shows two separate comings by Christ.

The abomination of desolation, which is in Christianity, does not require a stone Temple. Moreover, Jesus especially noted that the reader must understand what is being said:
What? Do you really think most of us here are stupid to believe that the "abomination of desolation" prophecy is about Christianity??? WHO TOLD YOU THAT LIE FROM THE DEVIL?

Jesus Christ was WARNING His Church while upon the Mount of Olives about that "abomination of desolation" event from the Book of Daniel. And IF YOU HAD EVEN STUDIED THE BOOK OF DANIEL TO KNOW WHAT THAT FUTURE EVENT IS ABOUT, YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER..., EVER... APPLIED THAT TO CHRISTIANITY!

Go back to your rabbi and tell 'em your doctrines here won't work.

I don't have a rabbi. I've never been to a synagogue in my life.

Apostle Paul in his epistles ALWAYS used the word "naos" to refer to the temple of the Body of Christ. There was no point for Paul to frighten pagans with the "man of sin" in the Jewish temple: pagans were not allowed into the Jewish temple. Paul warned of apostasy in Christianity. And this apostasy had already occurred in the time of the apostles:

I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. (3 John 1:9)

Today's Christianity is much worse than what it was in the time of the apostles.

The Greek word "naos" means "sanctuary". The temple as a place visited by the Jews was called by another word: "hieron".

The abomination of desolation has long been on the facade of Christianity. The only question is when you SEE it. Daniel names the dates for certain signs, which are formal signs for counting the period of the "abomination of desolation". But if you look not at the formal signs, but at the current state of Christian denominations: it is impossible for a believer to be there at all.

The most obvious signs of the "abomination of desolation" in Christianity:
- the unlawful tithe, which is used to fleece suckers;
- the heresy of the "trinity", which replaced the main commandment of the Torah;
- the "Christmas" of the Antichrist on December 25, the birthday of the Roman sun god;
- the transfer of Saturday to Sunday, a mockery of the 4th commandment;
- the replacement of the biblical Passover on the 14th of Nisan with the holiday of the pagan goddess of fornication Astarte, Easter;
- almost universal service to one's mammon ("mammon" is translated as "property");
- participation in the elections of the next antichrist - the president of the United States;
- the crucifixion of the Body of Christ by thousands of denominations, the violation of the main commandment of Jesus Christ about our unity.

IRRELEVANT that Paul used Greek 'naos' for "temple", since Greek 'naos' WAS ALSO used in The New Testament for the literal STONE TEMPLE ('naos' is also used for a stone temple in -- Acts 17:24; Acts 7:48; John 2:20; Luke 23:45; Luke 1:21-22; Luke 1:9; Mark 15:38; Matthew 27:51, etc.)

Those you listen to have duped you with their lack of Bible study.

Wrong. I have already disproven your 'naos' word theory.

All that above is just one ADDED DOCTRINE OF MEN stacked on top of another.

Brethren in Christ: What IS the "abomination of desolation" Jesus warned His Church About?

Jesus in Matthew 24 and Mark 13 quoted the "abomination of desolation" from the Book of Daniel 11. So one MUST go to the Book of Daniel to understand, as that is why Jesus mentioned Daniel in His quoting it. Simple. A 1st grader can understand this.

In Daniel 11, the "vile person" is who is in power AT JERUSALEM, when the "abomination of desolation" IDOL is placed in a STANDING STONE TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM for false idol worship. THAT... is what the "abomination of desolation" is about, AN IDOL ABOMINATION for false worship, at JERUSALEM for the End of this world by the final Antichrist! That "vile person" serves as the final Antichrist that Apostle John said shall come, and that Apostle Paul warned of in 2 Thess.2 that false one will exalt himself as God, and over all that is CALLED God, or that is worshiped.

Well Jellybean, where is that idol abomination written of in The New Testament about the very END of this world?? EASY! Right here...

Rev 13:11-15
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;
saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

I believe what is written in the Bible and always ask God if I don’t understand something.

Those you listen to have duped you with their lack of Bible study.
A person cannot sit in the Tabernacle. There is no place for it. It is dark, stuffy, there is no toilet in the Tabernacle, no one except the priests can go in there. It is pointless for a person to sit there. The first ones who will not allow this are the Jews. They know the law well.

I do not have the habit of listening to people and relying on someone's opinion. For a Hebrew, the only authority is the Lord God and the Holy Scripture.
Wrong. I have already disproven your 'naos' word theory.
You haven't refuted anything, don't make things up.

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (2 Corinthians 6:16)

The same word, "naos", is written here as here:

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2:4)

All that above is just one ADDED DOCTRINE OF MEN stacked on top of another.

This does not work for Ezekiel's Temple. There will never be an abomination of desolation there, because that is what Ezekiel says. The Jews will not build another Temple. So, you will have to find another interpretation for Daniel 11.
THAT... is what the "abomination of desolation" is about, AN IDOL ABOMINATION for false worship, at JERUSALEM for the End of this world by the final Antichrist! That "vile person" serves as the final Antichrist that Apostle John said shall come, and that Apostle Paul warned of in 2 Thess.2 that false one will exalt himself as God, and over all that is CALLED God, or that is worshiped.
This idol of "Jesus" has been standing in the temple of the living God since the 4th century, and worship of it is on Christmas:

And he brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the Lord, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
(Ezekiel 8:16)

25 people - December 25, they worship the idol of the sun, stand with their backs to God.

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? ... (2 Corinthians 6:16)

None. There is no God in the "temple of the living God" where instead of God there is Christmas. The Christmas of an idol.

Well Jellybean, where is that idol abomination written of in The New Testament about the very END of this world?? EASY! Right here...

That's right. This is the false Jesus who replaced the real Jesus Christ. This false Jesus threw out chapters 40-48 of the book of the prophet Ezekiel, cancelled the word of God.

Here is how He will come, ,to be glorified in His temple not made with hands, ie, in His Body, the church/ekklesia:

2Th 1:7-12

and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,

in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe,[fn] because our testimony among you was believed.

Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,

that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mat 24:23-27

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Behold, I have told you before.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luk 17:20-21

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yes, that is exactly how it will be. Israel will build the Third Temple, people from different nations will enter the eastern gate of the Temple. Christians will call these people antichrists and false prophets, they will laugh at them. Then Israel will build the city of Yahweh Shammah, and to the people who entered the eastern gate, their brothers and sisters will be added, who will also repatriate to Israel from other nations. As a result, the country of the Messiah will appear on earth, Israel - the incarnation of Jesus Christ in the Second Coming. And those who remain in their denominations will end up with nothing, they will perish in their own delusion.

Hello @Galgal,

While people can believe how they will; I don’t believe in a third temple. I believe in the heavenly Jerusalem now established mentioned in the book of Hebrews. I believe all prophets and law was fulfilled in Christ and Jesus was proclaimed to return soon, to the seven churches with the instruction of Christ given to them in that day in age of what they were doing right and what they were doing wrong; and it was in time before the coming wrath was unleashed upon them in 70Ad. Don’t take my word for it though. All the best; I don’t worry about these things anymore because I believe all of it came to fruition already.

That is, you have rejected the rock of God's word, written in your Bible: Ezekiel 40-48. Further you will see the consequences of this rejection of Jesus Christ in the Second Coming.

Hello @Galgal,

If you say so. There are many people who believe there must be a third temple built. I simply don’t believe them. It’s simple. If I’m to suffer so allow it to be.
