To All,

Sometimes we don't have to look to hard to find satan at work in the world. Certainly we know that one of his chief traits is lying, and we can go from there. But with all my research into World War II, I had never run across Japan's "Three All's", until some months ago.

Now we should consider generically that the Orient does not historically have an innate propensity for Jewish (and associated Islamic -- albeit skewed) and Christian foundations. And one could argue that "Bushido" was not a culturally significant aspect to Japanese life until the military realized they could exploit it in the early 1900's to assist military aggression.

And having convinced their population that ruthless conquest at the behest of the "Emperor" (really the military) was a citizens "duty", they started their conquest of China and introduced the "Three All's": Steal All, Kill All, and Burn All.

It should sound familiar given the atrocities against both combatants and civilians as committed in China, in Southeast Asia (including the Burma railroad), and in the Pacific Island Campaign.

And any Christian should associate the "Three All's" influence with the summation of satan's efforts: "to steal, kill, and destroy".

Just an interesting aspect of world history which might otherwise go unnoticed, but may become increasingly in evidence in our near future.
