Suppose three brothers decide to purchase a house as tenants in common. Each one now owns a third interest. Now comes the question; who gets what third? who gets the garge, Laudry room and nook, and so on. Well, under the law, they can't. Each has an undivided one third interest, what that means under the law is, all have all rights to all of the house all the time. If they want privacy, they can create an agreement stating the terms.

The point? We have created a carbon copy of the Trinity in our own laws without calling it Trinity, Just like in the bible. Now granted, we are not making 3 individuals one individual right? Right, except that in any contract, the law requires that it reads: Billy, Willy and Jolly hereby known as Buyer (singular).........etc. Therefore the three are identified as a singular Buyer, though three individuals are named. If in any given day down here on the earth we accept it as law, why can't we have a Trinity in the Godhead in Heaven and accept Him as GOD?

DISCLAIMER: Don't get excited, this interpretation is not meant to reflect spiritual revelation in any way shape or form. It is however intended to compare the physical similarities of the characteristics of our laws to that of Gods spiritual character.

For me it is a language problem. We call God a Person, whether it is God, Lord, Creator, Father, or One God. But the Persons of the Trinity, Father, Son, and Spirit are different kinds of Persons. And since each of the Persons is Divine, each Person of the Trinity is the one Person of the One God, as well.

Now, I've had it argued with me that the equation is not possible: One Person = Three Persons. I understand that under usual circumstances, but not by the unusual circumstance of an omnipotent Being, who is an infinite Person. As an Infinite Deity He has always been able to express Himself in an infinite number of Persons, all of whom are Divine.

But we only know of the Three Persons of the Trinity by the revelation of this Infinite God. We know that all of the Divine Persons have always existed--in reality and in potentiality, with respect to their revelation to us in time.

And so, we have what appears to be an irrational formula that nevertheless explains to me what the Bible says is real. You can accept it or reject it, or find an explanation that suits you as being biblical.
