This thread is speaking of the pernicious "serpent-seed" heresy. In actual fact the seeds are the Spirit and the flesh. They fight against each other...in all the children of God. So we can opt for one or the other. God said that Cain could have gotten it right...had he persisted and humbled himself. So then Cain was in no way forced into his actions. As no one is. We are free to be and do according to what is right....or not.

@n2thelight, what day was the plants, grass, and herbs brought forth on? read Genesis 1:9 - 13. now knowing that lets read, Genesis 2:4 "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,
Genesis 2:5 "And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Genesis 2:6 "But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
Genesis 2:7 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul".

so "BEFORE" any plant life that came forth on day 3 God made "A" man/Adam. on day 6 God made the one Adam into a Male and female, Mankind. understand now?.

Cain and Abel were born before the serpent was allowed in the garden.

They were not under the curse of sin themselves. They did watch as their parents were banned and left the Garden of Eden. Cain should have known better, and God warned him that sin was "at the door" wanting to come into the garden.

So yes, Cain killed his brother and had to leave God’s presence because he allowed sin into God's presence, just like his father.

Adam was not the godly line. He did not rebuke the serpent and remove it from the Garden. God punished Adam to slavery to this earth along with sin and death.

It was the sons of God, those created on the 6th day who disobeyed God and married into Adam's fallen humanity.

But God did not abandon humanity. Adams grandson, Enoch found out who God was and followed God leaving the things of this world behind in his life, to the point, that God allowed him into heaven without experiencing the punishment of physical death.

God thwarted Satan and his attempt to bring more sons of God over to his side, and asked a fallen human, Noah to obey Him, to save mankind from the wrath of God.
