There is you answer....Jesus knew it when He called the religious leaders of His day snakes "a brood of vipers"....so shortly after Jesus and the Roman church with it's violence, and then the talmudic Jewish and then the Muslims..what a violent mix...is there any wonder there is such a violent history in the name of religion? No wonder at all...and then to top is off, all those that profess to be "christian", but commit atrocities against humanity..what a mixed up world.
If only they had all followed the teachings of Jesus it would sure be a better world...but it is coming when He returns and straightens the mess on planet earth out...by the signjs it won't be that long, but none know the hour of His coming, only the Father in Heaven knows.

That is a very good answer. If they had only followed His teachings..... Think back to those moments in history or murder and atrocities done in the name of Christ. How different would the outcomes been had they followed His message of love? But was that all part of His plan? Was it His will? A true and educated believer will ask Him to show them His will and look to follow it.... How prevalent was Satan during these times that these men were convinced what they were doing was Gods will? This shows you the power of spiritual warfare and why we should always clad ourselves in the armor of the Holy Spirit.

Just as any text can be quoted out of context, so too can any propaganda be justified by the speaker.
Of course! That is why we study the beliefs. When I study Muhammads teachings my face goes       :( :(  :( :( <_<

And so too can anyone quote out of context anything about Islam, judaism and christianity.

Many do it all the time to incite fear and hatred of the people they wish to dehumanise.

To incite fear and hate is to break the second great command.

Those doing so are not with The King.

Of course. But these days with the internet / Wikipedia / access to unbiased information.....we, simply have no excuse for ignorance.

Using your brain is what the King wants. As I have said before I want to believe Islam likes me. Have you got evidence for me?

I heard some good news about Islam!! Only around 20% of 1.6 billion Muslims are radicals. That means there are only around 320 million radical Muslims on earth. The equivalent of the population of the USA.

Why did Jesus call the religious leaders of His day a "brood of vipers"? Was it because of their talmudic followings, and hate for gentiles?
It was because of how they took advantage of the weak and ignorant in the name of God. Because they used their religious position to control and manipulate people. Vipers kill and Jesus also offered this:

Matt_23:28 -33
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Ah fear those that can kill the body but not the soul?

No thanks.

Islam is such a non issue. Been around since the seventh century and hasn't made me convert nor kill me. Nor any of my friends, nor any family, nor any people in my city.

But of you'd like to fear and hate it you go right ahead.

But please don't try and convince others of your paranoia and hatred. Keep that in your own heart.

Currently, no.

Lived in Lebanon and Turkey for a bit. Visited Tunisia, Algeria and Indonesia. More muslims there per capita than any Arab nation.

Never had an issue. In fact Indonesians are very kind and gracious people for, so called blood thirsty infidel killers as you make them out to be.

Perhaps less internet and fox news and more travel?

Now of course I respect people and have never gone to the Saudi peninsula. Which is the major bone of contention with muslims.

But then I respect all people by not treading on their sacred lands. But greedy people don't care.

The wind would be taken out of the sails of islamists if we'd just not go to their sacred places and steal their riches.

But arrogant westerners don't care when it comes to mammon.
