We talk about weight of scripture like it is just another theme of scripture, but in all of the scripture it is the only thing we can see that really concerns God. Nothing else matters to him - you recognize that by the extreme he goes to give to us in all of scripture the only thing that matters. You can follow God working through all of scripture to protect his plan and bring the plan into full swing. Very interesting to follow although scripture to see how he does keep every point of what the plan would be for humanity ultimately in Christ. So you can begin to realize this matters more to God than anything else that is written.
He protects the lineage that Jesus would come through. He sets up kings and takes kings down to protect the lineage. Although scripture shows how God has in his mind a plan for humanity to be in Christ - and that determination before the foundation of the world is protected by God as it is worked out from Genesis to Jesus coming into the world - to the cross - to Paul being chosen to carry in the ultimate plan of God for mankind. You see that is what was hid in God (now revealed) - his ultimate plan. The mind of good and evil we cannot see the plan and purpose of God for creation - we judge based on what we see and not what we know by the Spirit.
Granted people know what God is doing in the earth today, but judging by the knowledge of good and evil you cannot know what God is ultimately doing in his creation. I understand people having a problem with what goes on in the world. I have a problem with it - but we must try at least to keep a proper perspective on what is happening in God - and give ourselves time for leading and understanding. Get understanding on creation - the why, the reason, and the ultimate of God. We have enough weirdo's like me in the world, we need soundness of mind to understand what is happening and not sound like a crazed madman. You ever listen to the real kooky of the world or the evil - wow what a let down they are to their creation!
