Things to appreciate in life

Our Bodily health:

• Breathing
• Circulating blood
• Renewing cells and growing cells all day every day without trying
• Legs to take us everywhere we want to go
• Fingers write, chop, type, fold, feed, and do millions of other tasks we ask, without fail.
• Should something happen inside us, we have doctors to help and fix it
• Life expectancy is far beyond what people expected 100 years ago
• Our physiology allows us to experience sexual pleasure
• Protected Sex that doesn't have to lead us to pregnancy

Our entertainment:

• Daily mail delivered to us
• When were short on cash, money can be collected from the banks
• Cameras and telescopes allow us to see galaxies and other distant planets

Our foods:

• We have flour without having to grow/mill our own wheat
• Sugar without having to cut down the sugar cane
• Veggies without tending and weeding all day
• Water that is piped into our homes
• Beautiful various foods from super markets and food stores
• Kitchen gizmos that keeps foods refrigerated and cool.
• Central heating without having to burn wood or gather wood
• We can eat without having to cook
• Select foods that are from all different nationalities
• Desserts and treats

Lifestyle:

• Our homes stand strong regardless of winds and storms
• Water runs into our bathtubs and showers allowing us to wash ourselves
• We sleep in comfy beds, covered in clean sheets, and pillows
• When its freezing outside we stay warm inside.
• When its hot out we stay cool by AC
• We don't get wet in rain, because of roofs
• We have the chance to wear luxurious, smart and designer clothing or any clothing at all
• We have nice shoes/boots on our feet to keep them warm and protected

People:

• You have great friends that you can rely on
• We have a relatively safe society so we have the chance to move about freely
• Thanks to traffic lights we can navigate and drive safely
• Neighbours to rely on and speak to

Old technology that should astound:

• Television to watch the news and watch interesting entertaining films
• Cars to drive us miles and miles to where we want to go
• Planes to fly us anywhere we want in the world for a vacation or work location
• Books to read to entertain us and escape from the real world
• The internet to use social networking sites to be in contact with people all across the world, to search and discover things and to learn new things about unlimited things
• Toilets that can flush our waste without any fuss

There is so many things we should appreciate in life, god gifted us with so many things of luxury and entertainment. We should be grateful and thank god everyday, or whenever we get the chance.

Yes I agree. The more we appreciate, the more inner peace we shall gain. He has truly gifted us.
I am more than grateful for all his great wonders he has gifted me, no matter the few I lose, their is a huge majority still there that he has provided.
