Since I'm going to be watching the movie Aladdin tonight (the original) I was just wondering, if you had a genie appear in front of you and told you that it would gladly grant three wishes for you what would you wish for? Here are my wishes.

Note: No wishing for more wishes!

1. To get a Beagle.

2. To visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

3. To take horseback riding lessons again but English this time and learn how to jump.

AW a beagle would be fun. I am terrified of horses but think that's really cool for people who can*.

1. Marry the real version of the prince from Sleeping Beauty and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast hybrid, when the beast is in a good mood, but more like a 40 year old version and not 20 year old version because that would be creepy and really gross.
2. A house with enough space to where I can raise chickens (at least) and garden.
3. Ability to get rid of brain fog so I can answer questions correctly instead of spending two weeks getting 2(−14+r)−(−3r−5) wrong

That third one is driving me nuts right now

I wish I knew why God won't answer my prayers, and be able to do what ever I have to do (faith? grace? love?) so that he will answer my prayers. (If he exists. If he doesn't exist I'd wish abit different.)

In my experience, God only answers according to his own will but we have to have faith and believe in him, because without faith it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6- No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who seek him.)

But also I've found that he rarely gives me things I just want but always provides what's needed, even if it is scarce, it is enough - and establishes the idea of forced reliance and dependence on him as a means of strengthening faith and trust in him, as the example given to us in Proverbs 30.

Give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with the bread that is my portion.
Otherwise, I may have too much
and deny You, saying, ‘Who is the LORD?’

Or I may become poor and steal,
profaning the name of my God.

I wish this covid virus would be gone so we can all get back to normal and I can hug my loved ones again.

I wish I could get a new laptop.

I wish somebody would do my housework.

@FluffyYellowDuck and @Pearl have hit the nail on the head...
When we ask we should be in line with His Will for us as to what we are praying for.. m.j
Notice Pearl"s post...I WISH, I...I...I...I
it appears as though "I" comes before God's Will when spoken like this...IMHO. :)
It does, but these aren't prayers but just stuff in response to the lighthearted thread. I would never really 'wish' for anything. So maybe I shouldn't have responded to the question.

No wishes really other than what others have expressed regarding an end to virus troubles...Any others would be in fun but I would like to share this old nursery rhyme I learned almost before memory. It seems like I have always known it...I have shared it on this forum before:

"If wishes were horses, beggars would ride!"

Contentment with Godliness is great gain...

Just saying that right out of the gate.

However...

Some high gluten bread flour would be nice.
(So I can make better chewy breads for a change)

Then maybe a new car for the wifey... she would like that.

Then a nice Birthday party in the park where I'm making all kinds of foods for all the birthdays missed during the pandemic with my Sunday School class...and a few fishing poles so people can fish in the lake for fun.

I would wish that all my children would be close to Jesus all their lives.
As for me I want my neck arthritis to go away, and I'd like to grow a new set of teeth as the old ones are getting pretty bad.
