Hi there!
So, a very difficult lesson for me to learn, was that "timing" is very important to the Lord. I think sometimes people assume the earlier they learn about themselves, the more power they will have - but this isn't true. There are some things you can't learn, until you have been in a relationship for years; some relationships you can't grow from, until you have shared life with the next generation. Don't be too concerned that you will be left behind, because you understand what it is to be young, but not what it is to be old. You will - if you trust in the Lord - get the right lesson, at the right time.
The Bible says "young men shall have visions; old men shall dream dreams" (from memory) - what's it saying that for? In principle, its saying "young men shouldn't try to be old and old men should be happy they were". It's not for us to give lessons to others, as if the experience we have negates the importance they have of learning it themselves. Now, I'm not saying give up having an answer to where you are in life, I'm saying be aware that expecting to have the joy of life, all at once, is not wise. The world will chase after what it wants, even with gusto, but eventually even the world will slow down.
Perhaps the simple way to put it, is that there will be a number of lessons in life, for every stage you get up to - Lord willing! Having many lessons, doesn't mean the lessons of others can be forgotten - once we are in Heaven, they are still there to enjoy - but we can be sure there is no reason to rush.
I hope this has been of some encouragement.
God bless.
