Jesus said to walk in the light as He is in the Light.
Did He mean, whenever you can get around to it?, and right after your next sin?

God says to "be holy as He is holy"....so, when does that start ????, and is it a part time situation?
Paul says we have LIBERTY in Christ and not to use this "for an occasion to the flesh".
So, that is telling you that you would be choosing to commit a carnal act, vs being unable to have any POWER to stop committing a work of the flesh..
That means you have Spiritual POWER , <>LIBERTY >< so that its easy to say no to a work of the flesh, if you are walking in right believing.

Here is the reality.
If you are living a life of sinning, guilt, confessing, repenting, then walking a while without sinning, then oppppps, there i go again, sorry Lord its the same old sin, the one i said 400 times ago i'd never do again....
That is not real Christianity. Thats RELIGION pretending to be Christianity.
God did not save you to be failing at being Holy after He told you to do it.
God would not tell you to do what can't be done.....would He?
The problem is, many are taught by Heretics that sinning is a part of our normal walk.
And that is a lie. But people believe it and they become what they believe.= A chronic Christian failure to live holy.
We don't have to be there... and its the Devil's lie to teach that this is what your Christianity is going to be, and remain.

Hebrews tells us that the reason that the blood of sacrificed animals was such a failure, is because it could not give you freedom from "sin consciousness" and it could not give you >righteousness<. So, Jesus became a one time eternal sacrifice, having obtained eternal, not temporary, but ETERNAL Redemption for us....and His sacrifice will provide you with deliverance from SIN CONSCIOUSNESS that frees you from sinning, if you believe right.

Now, to be tempted is not sin consciousness, as you were not thinking about that, then you were. IT showed up.
Sin Consciousness is a pattern of thinking of yourself as a sinner, and behaving accordingly.
ITs a sort of mental tattoo that is in your head that has always manipulated you to keep doing that same sin, or to seek to do other varieties.
The Law, empowers you to be a sinner. Paul said, "had i not known",...but the law came....sin revived""....ect.
So, the problem is the LAW....as it has the power to cause your "sinful passions" to become inflamed every time you try to stop sinning..

The Law is holy, but it does not affect us to behave holy. That is the curse of the Law..
And what Christians are not taught is the way the Law activates you to think about sinning = is to become activated in your passions by the law. Thats what the law does to you. The law causes you to struggle against sin, and you have no power to stop, of yourself.
Jesus came to "redeem you from the CURSE of the LAW".....that is, to take that power from the Law away, that was driving you to sin consciousness, that is happening because you are resisting the law in your own power.
Christians don't realize..... that....if you were a sinner before you were saved, its because you had no power of yourself to stop....so, after you are saved, you still have no power of yourself to stop.
The power to stop sinning is found in the Grace of God. "apart from me, you can do nothing" Jesus said. = Apart from MY POWER.

The mind is where the sin starts, then it ends up being committed by your body.
So, you have to resolve your mind issue... that is still operating in the same sin conscious rut it was in before you were saved. = walking in the Flesh.
You solve that mind issue, that believing issue and you stop committing works of the flesh..
You have to come to understand this....>"the knowledge of the Truth" so that the Truth can set you free.
Notice its the coming to the knowledge that then engages the TRUTH to set you free.
The Truth can't deliver you until you get the knowledge, "come to it". =The REVELATION.. THE LIGHT.
= The Light is the power to begin to be Freed from committing habitual works of the flesh.....
Right Believing IS the Light..
And that is what Paul refers to as the "Liberty" or the total liberation from committing works of the flesh... that is described as "walking in the Spirit".
If you walk in the Spirit, you will not fulfill the lusts of your sin conscious mind.
See it?
But you have to get there.. in your mind, by Right Believing.

So, the entire problem of "cant stop sinning", is because you have a mind that is not renewed. It has not come to the knowledge of the Truth, as "the mind of Christ".
The ' mind of Christ" simply means you are walking in the Spiritual understanding of the knowledge of the Truth.
When you walk in the natural mind, you are "walking in the flesh"...and that mind is unable to be delivered from sin consciousness that is powered by the Law, under the laws dominion, that keeps you sinning then confessing, falling then repenting.....that cycle of FAIL.

"you are not under the law, you are under GRACE".
See that?
You have to put yourself under the dominion of THAT Grace by right believing.
You are under it, because you are saved, but you are not operating in it, because your mind is still sin conscious.... You are still walking in the flesh.

How to get to the truth that im talking about...
Well, you have to obsess a bit to get to the resting place that gives this freedom from sin consciousness.
The power of Christ is available, but you have to engage it in a certain way that becomes your deliverance.
You have to begin again at the beginning and get this right, as that is what you got wrong from the start that has kept you in the Christian Fail syndrome of sinning, guilt, confession, over and over.

= You simply have to get deeply grounded in this verse. Hebrews 13:9
You have to get your heart completely in line with the Grace of God.
You have to become really really completely in sync with the Grace of God. You have to obsess on this.... is the reality, and the eventual fruit that results and abides will result as freedom to LIVE HOLY because of the Right Believing that you gained.
You have to let go of all your effort to try to make God accept you, or any fear or idea that Salvation has something to do with you keeping it by SELF.
You have to let all that go, and become completely under the "dominion of Grace".
You have to become ESTABLISHED mentally and spiritually with that verse, and BECOME THAT as your TRUE understanding of Salvation.
When you do, you will then be walking in the LIGHT of the revelation of GRACE, and you will begin to rest in that Grace, free from any idea of self effort as the way to stop sinning or to keep yourself saved.
Once you get there, you then have the "mind" of Christ, and are no longer walking in the flesh. And in that Place, is where you will find that you are freed from that consciousness of sin, that the Law was using to keep you in that rut of sinning and repenting.
-------------------------------------

Saint, take the journey into right believing

Find your freedom there from sinning and repenting.

Jesus said to walk in the light as He is in the Light.
Did He mean, whenever you can get around to it?, and right after your next sin?

He meant, right after your last sin....and the light also reveals that you have indwelling sin (1 John 1:7-8)

The Law, empowers you to be a sinner.

More accurately, sin takes advantage of the law to produce in you all manner of concupiscence (Romans 7:8). The motions of sin, which bring forth fruit unto death, are by the law (Romans 7:5).

The law does not empower you to be a sinner. You are a sinner all on your own, and have plenty of power to sin, apart from the law.

The law shows you that you are a sinner in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20, Galatians 3:24, Psalms 19:7 (kjv)).
