cos he was not primarily sent to baptize but all apostles are sent per Matt 28:19 including paul

and WHAT record is there in the NT of any of the other Apostles and baptism? ZERO! Nothing outside of Acts, and in Peter

It is clear to those who are willing to listen to the Word of God, over their own theology, that Paul is clear, that He was NOT sent to Baptise, but to Preach the Gospel, which means that baptism cannot be part to the Gospel, which Paul outlines in 1 Corinthians chapter 15.

Water baptism, or any other thing that a person needs to DO, to be saved, is HERETICAL. Jesus Commands in Mark 1:15, that the sinner must "REPENT and BELIEVE in the Gospel", to be saved. Period!

Yet in Acts 2:38, we find: "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

So, a person, in a sick bed, and not being able to get baptized cannot become a Christian.
In my book that person believing in and accepting Jesus Christ is saved.......but.... according to you that person cannot be saved.
What kind of gospel is that ?
A legalistic one.

You failed to do a double quote, so I might be the only person who read this post.

Let me ask you this: Jesus's purpose, it seems to me, was to influence us to develop a relationship with God. The Jews strive to have a relationship with this same God, but don't recognize Jesus as the Savior. Are the Jews saved?

Are you trying to get me to condemn someone? I have the wisdom not to do it. It’s been fully formed in me over these last weeks.

Sure, there is a Father, his son, and holy spirit, which violates not one single grammatical rule, nor logic. But when it said, "there is a God the Father. There is a God the Son, There is a God the Holy Ghost. But these are not three Gods, but they are one God," we've entered a realm where words have no meaning and logic is AWOL.

And, of course "Human Logic" doesn't work in regards to that, of which we know little or nothing.

The full argument that undoes the Trinitarian argument is KJV
John.14[23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 1+1 does not equal 3, but rather 2.
Well, at least there is no refutation that God is at least a duality... :)

Two points in answer to this, both in the form of questions ~ the second closely related to and following from the first, and rhetorical in nature, really, not requiring an answer:

1.) Can 'us' encompass any number above one? :)

2.) Was Jesus referring to three persons throughout John 14, the Father, the Son (Himself), and another Helper (the Holy Spirit)? :)

The answer is an emphatic 'yes' to both questions. So, rather than "undoing" the trinitarian "argument," it irrefutably supports it.

Together, both God the Father and God the Son are ONE as the Holy Spirit, and therefore come to live within His Born again Saints.
The Helper Himself is sent by the Father, just as the Son is sent by the Father, and in the Son's name. Indisputably three Persons, even in the King James Version, of course, which, because of the antiquated language is no less true than other versions but a bit easier for our more modern ears to misconstrue in places.

Grace and peace to you, Earburner.

No one is saved while still living!
See below

a person in bed can easily be baptized, but if it is really and truly impossible then it would not be required but as soon as is becomes possible they must submit to baptism or reject salvation

Matt 24:13 endures to the end.

Mark 13:13
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

1. Romans 11:22 – God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness

2. Colossians 1:21-23 – holy and blameless, if you continue in the faith"

3. The race of faith: the example of Paul

4. Hebrews 12:22-25: "we shall not escape if we turn away from Him"

5. Hebrews 4:1-3, 9-12: "strive to enter the rest of God"

6.Hebrews 6:4-9 – those who became partakers of the holy spirit and fell away

7. Hebrews 10:23-29, 35-39: "if we sin willfully", "if anyone draws back".

8. Matthew 24:13: He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved

9. Hebrews 3:4-6: Holding fast our confidence firm until the end

10. Matthew 24:13: "But the one who endures to the end will be saved"

11. 1 John 2:24-25 – "if what you heard from the beginning abides in you"

12. 2 John 8-9 : to "everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ

13. 2 Peter 1:5-11 : "Make every effort to supplement your faith"

14. Philippians 2:12-16: "work out your salvation with fear and trembling"

15. 1 Timothy 6:10-16: the love of money

16. Galatians 5:2-4 "Severed from Christ"

17. 2 Timothy 2:11-13: "if we deny him, he will also deny us"

18. James 5:19-20: the wandered brother

19. Some will abandon the faith

20. 1 Timothy 5:8: "he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever"

22. The real family of Jesus: "Those who hear the Word of God and do it"

23. 1 Corinthians 5:5: "so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord"

24. Peter 2: "It would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness"

25. Jude: "Turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness" - a much relevant warning

26. 1 Cor. 9:27 ....Lest I myself might become a castaway

Romans 1:5
By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
(Must remain obedient)

(He who endured to the end) one who dies in a state of grace united to Jesus Christ by faith and baptism!
Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38 1 pet 3:21
Matt 24:13

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

So salvation by “faith alone” is completely false and impossible if baptism is rejected!

Do you not think God gave us brains and minds that work with logic? If you think no, you wouldn't be able to prove it. I think proof of anything requires logic, so even if there was a trinity nobody could prove it. It would have to be accepted by blind faith, which in itself is an oxymoron. We have faith in with which we are familiar and know to be reliable, hence it can't be blind.

Anyway, that's how see things. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. We'll all find out when Jesus comes back.

A sacrament is an outward sign for all men including infants And a gift from God to help us see what he does inwardly and invisibly by his grace!

As grace Washes our souls in the merits of Jesus blood from original and personal sin, so the outward action of washing is visible!

without the outward action the inward action cannot take place!

Jn 3:5 Titus 3:5 water and washing
acts 22:16 wash away your sin!

Jn 3:5 Born again BY water and the spirit! Not by “faith alone”!

They did not go to Jerusalem and preach “accept Christ as you’re personal Lord and savior “

They went to the river (water) and they baptized! Jn 3:22

A covenant requires an outward sign of the inward action of grace!

Ez 36:25 I will sprinkle you with clean water and you shall be made white as snow.

Acts 22:16 washing away your sins.

Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism.

1 pet 3:21 baptism saves you.

Baptism!

God breathed life into Adam, gen 2:7 and we received this life from our fathers!

Christ breathed on the apostles our spiritual fathers, we receive the new covenant life of God’s grace from them thru faith & baptism! Jn 20:21-23 Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38 eph 2

Born again! Born from above!

'The Father has set his seal' on Christ (John 6:27) and also seals us in him (cf. 2 Corinthians 1:22; Ephesians 1:23, 4:30). Because this seal indicates the indelible effect of the anointing with the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of Baptism,

Baptism indeed is the seal of eternal life." 87 The faithful Christian who I has "kept the seal" until the end, remaining faithful to the demands of his Baptism, will be able to depart this life "marked with the sign of faith," 88 with his baptismal faith, in expectation of the blessed vision of God - the consummation of faith - and in the hope of resurrection.

St. Paul tells the faithful at Ephesus that they have been “sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.” This is in terms of an indelible character imprinted on the soul in the sacraments of baptism and confirmation. It is not as if this invisible mark is simply decorative. Rather, through it, we are enabled to participate in Christ’s mission and in his offices of priest, prophet, and king. Eph 1:13

Sealed by God eph 1:13 sealed by God (ez 36:25-27) in the ark of salvation by baptism just as Noah was sealed by God in the ark of the flood gen 7:16

1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark of Noah none were saved, outside the church (the ark of salvation) none are saved!)

Sealed in the ark, sealed in the church the ark of salvation by God thru baptism!

Effects of faith & baptism!

Ez 36:25-27 washed in baptism, with a new heart and the Spirit
Jn 3:5 born again in baptism
Mk 16:16 faith & baptist
Acts 2:38 repentance & baptism
Acts 8:36-38 faith & baptism
Acts 22:16 baptism washes away sin
Rom 6:3 died with Christ
Col 2:12 risen with Christ

2 cor 5:17 new creation
Eph 1:13 sealed by the Holy Spirit
Eph 2:1&5 brought to life in baptism
Eph 4:5 one baptism
Eph 5:26 faith and baptism
Titus 3:5 baptismal regeneration
1 pet 1:2 washed in Christ’s blood
1 pet 2:9 and not the kingdom of light
1 pet 3:20-21 baptism saves us!

“Faith alone” accomplishes nothing!
1 cor 13:2 even all faith (alone) without charity avails NOTHING!!!

Faith and baptism!

Scripture says none of the things about “Faith alone”!

“Faith alone”

Questions

where does scripture says we have died with Christ by “faith alone”?

Rom 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

where does scripture say we are members of Christ and his church by “faith alone”?

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

where does scripture says we put on Christ by “faith alone”?

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Where does scripture say our sins are washed away by “faith alone”?

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

where does scripture say we are saved or justified by “faith alone”?

1 pet 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!

The only reference in scripture to “faith alone” is James 2:24 NOT BY “FAITH ALONE”?

2 pet 1: 11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

How can you enter by your own if it must be ministered to you? Baptism is done unto you, “not do it yourself by faith alone”

Jn 3:5 born again by faith alone?

Where is “Accept Christ as your personal lord & savior” is not found in scripture?

They did not go preaching this line but went immediately to the river and baptized Jn 3:22

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Eph 4:5 one baptism

Why don’t it say one teeny tiny little act of “faith alone”???

When we first believed we are saved?

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

How can salvation be nearer than when we first believed if you’re saved by believing?

If salvation is by “faith alone” then faith would be the greatest!
1 cor 13:13 charity is the greatest!

Even all faith much less “faith alone” without charity avails nothing!
1 cor 13:2
Do you pray to three beings or one?

Oh, I misunderstood you completely! No, we are not superior. In fact, we are now wandering in the desert and, largely, making their same exact mistakes but expecting a different and better result.

You will not get far (but will think you have) using human logic to understand what is spirit.
And to think it will work necessitates having to shut out the evidence of the modern day Babel we have become and refuse to see it.

First of all, logic is not the invention of humans. God gave us minds which can only comprehend that which is logical. All the words we use to communicate are based on logic, and God used words to communicate His will to us. How do you come to a conclusion about anything, including the identity of Jesus and Yahweh, without using logic? Or do we come to illogical conclusions and try to make something of it?

1 cor 13:2

interesting for those who want to push their own theories, they disregard Sacriptures that are against them!

I see no mention of Mark 1:15, or Luke 13:1-3, and Luke 24:47 (as in the NASB, ESV, better text), which are the very words of God Incarnate, Jesus Christ!

Did you know that Mark 16:16 is absent from many Greek manuscripts, and Bible Versions? This means that you cannot really build any firm teaching on these verses?

You will still ignore the thief on the cross, who was ever baptised, and as he was there when Jesus had died, is under the New Testament, and not the Old!

Likewise you ignore Paul's words, "For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Gospel" (1 Cor. 1:17), which shows that water baptism is NOT part of the Gospel!
