Does anyone remember what life was like before politics?

Getting ready for the holidays. Raking the leaves and mowing the lawn one last time before the snow falls.
Gathering the wood for the fireplace, getting out the decorations.
Deciding what kind of pies to cook or if your having Turkey or roast goose.
Getting out the shovels and the de-icer. Making sure your tires and windshield wipers are ready for winter.

All the trees here in New England have those beautiful fall colors. And the days are still a little warm but you can feel the slight chill in the air.
Picking Apples for the apple pies and Pumpkins for the pumkin pies.
I can smell it already..

If the government wants to sit out this winter's holiday festivies that's their decision.
I'm still going to admire the changing of the seasons around me and eat mince meat pie.

Yeah, I remember that life. For me, it was depression and Lupus that took it from me. Before long it'll be 3 years since I've been depressed. Since I finally threw that spirit off of me. I think Lupus is the lesser of 2 evils. I'm so glad this life is not our destination.

Trump put more power into the hands of the people. Incentivising them to create more jobs. Giving more financial support to colleges and more choices of schools for parents. He created energy independence from other countries like Saudi Arabia and OPEC, by opening the pipe line for natural gas and oil. He put tarriffs on countries that were importing cheap goods and paying nothing for the imports.
