There's lots of conspiracy theories and most are associated with mental illness.

Interesting statement....Because;
The majority of "conspiring" happens in secret meetings behind closed doors with govt. reps and their goons, with a patsy target and explanation theory established, who then spend millions of dollars on secret pseudo investigations and hearings, hide the true facts stamped "top secret", and announce their "theory" as the facts....from the magic bullet, to the flu....and then SAY...all is good,
We had public hearings, slung the gavel and concluded the matter...And the supposed "top secret" true facts, remain hidden from the public.
Conspiracies routinely begin with those who have shielded "themselves" From public scrutiny and accountability....with their all encompassing rubber stamp of "Top Secret".
So, in that Respect;
Agree, their Mind leads them to ACT, because their Heart is Not "Right" with God.

Yep, raw language! However his expression Inanutshell, IS: Pain of Loss of a loved one, at the hand of govt preaching fear, safe solutions, dictating, mandating, circumstantial forcing ... RIGHTLY being the responsible party. And we all know, they excuse themselves FROM accountability recourse, and forge on to the next victim.

That’s what gaslighting does. It’s actually the GOAL of gaslighting, to make you question your own perceptions, question reality, doubt everything, and yes, begin to feel you might be insane.

Whenever I get to this point, I'm filled with the assurance that this will not yet happen.

oh yeah, I was there (quite recently) and it’s an apt description.
Yes, you really have seen what you’ve seen.
But don’t focus on if it’s “the end” or not. It may be or then it may be only shadows. Focus instead on what you see and learn about the fallen human condition. The pattern is so blatantly there, and it has been there throughout your whole life, to the point where you partially shut down in childhood. (And that’s even IF you have a gentle upbringing.) The misery of the nauseously repeated pattern is too much to face and bear, especially for a child who can’t deeply examine yet, so you partially shut down and go to autopilot and that’s where you live from.
